The plot is predictable, but Dawn of the Planet of the Apes combines great visual effects and refined motion-capture acting into an emotional spectacle.

It's a good sequel sad some of the cast is gone from the first movie . Good movie with action but didn't like it as much as the 1st

The best part of this film is that it starts right after the prequel finishes up. Good CGI but overall a poor sequel to the 1st two

Very slow going. The previous movie left you wanting more and this did not give it to you. Entertaining, but not worth the full price of the video.

The movie is good the metal case something to be desired dents and won't stay shut and spindle holds dvd to good have to bend disc to remove.

Not sure how many have been in this series but this one is just okay. Not worth purchasing the 4K version.

A technological upgrade and better plotline than the original, and a worthwhile performance from Andy Serkis, but...

Good film, but I was expecting so much more. I really think it could have been even better. That said - I am glad I purchsed it.

For me the first movie was better but the second one had better cgi and action scenes. Also it would be a better rent then own

They keep making the same movie over and over basically. The Special effect were great which made the movei better to watch

the image and sound are great and the special effects are terrific, but the plot is a smidge on the thin side

I like the movie, it was good, but that is a subjective opiinon. The only reason that I rated this low was becuse when viewing in 3D there was a weird light popping on my Samsung p8500 plasma, which is not a typical characteristic of a plasma, and has only been witnessed with this movie in 3D mode. I have not been able to replicate the issue with any other bluray disc

Not as good as the first one. However...the director, and acting quality is. Anything is better than FRANCO

Great in 3D, movie was okay, you may want to rent before you buy it.

I like big action movies and this had plenty of that. this is a good movie but don't buy the 3d version.

I didn't think they did a very good job on the 3D effects. The story wasn't bad, it was entertaining.
