The movie does a really for job of connecting the dots between the end of the last movie and a world dominated by apes.

This is enhanced version of the same show I watched as a child. Enjoyed it then and love it now. Can't wait for the next installment.

A great continuation/beginning. I remember the originals, this prequal takes you right up to just before Charleton Heston takes off!!

It is a little slow in the beginning but picks up about 20 mins or so into it. If you liked the 1st one, then you will love this one.

As a fan of the original Planet of the Apes series, I am really enjoying the fresh take on the series. But nothing beats an original.

While the movie was good, I wouldn't say it was great. It had some action and tied in well with the last movie but outside of that, there were parts that just dragged on longer than needed.

Just like "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" this is a remake of an earlier "Apes" film and just like "Rise" it is superior to the original. Well worth viewing if you are a fan of the series.

A wonderful 3D experience the whole family enjoyed. Impressive CGI! Amazing how real everything looked. Action packed that keeps your attention. Definitely a movie to add to the collection.
