Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the second installment in this rebooted series and does not disappoint. The 3D version of this film is surprisingly sharp showing some amazing detail in the characters. 7.1 DTS-HD audio is fantastic and your digital copy is available on multiple stores.

I really like this new series of Planet of the Apes movies. The special effects are great and the story is good. Hope they continue to make them. I like that it shows that no matter what species you are, you can be deceiving and that it is not only a human trait. With emotion comes all kinds of reactions

I love the re-boot Planet of the Apes movies, and this one was better than the first. Great story line, awesome acting,and amazing special effects. You don't need to have seen "Rise" to get it, but it helps if you do. See it now!

I thought this was going to be just another Planet of the Apes movie but was better. It was intriguing and I could not look away. You almost forgot you were watching apes but get wrapped up in the story. I would highly recommend.

Overall, it was a great movie. Filled with action, love and drama to keep you guessing. The story line was perfect, great lead off from the last movie. With the ending, kind of makes you think that there could be one more coming.

This second installment is better than the first mainly because the characters are established and takes off from opening credits. For a remake very good much better than the Mark Walberg attemp at a remake that one was terrible

This move met all of my expectations and more. I have told all of my family and friends that this is a must watch movie. I know that there is going to be another planet of the apes movie . I cant wait to see what happens nest

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes takes the story of Ceaser and moves it forward with the apes transitioning to an equal if not slightly superior force compared to the humans left weakened by disease and in fighting. Great movie!

WHAT A GREAT MOVIE. THE ACTOR THAT PLAYS CAESER REALLY BRINGS IT TO THE TABLE IN THIS ONE. DO YOU REMEMBER WATCHING THE APES MOVIE WHEN YOU WERE KIDS. WHAT A NOSTALGIC FEEL THIS BRINGS. MOST DEFINITELY WORTH OWNING ON BLU RAY.

What else can be said about this film? The plot, character development, action sequences and acting are all first rate. The film has real heart and the blu ray shows the film in fantastic video and audio quality. Buy this now!

This sequel to the Rise of the Planet of the Apes continues the story of Caesar and his family of apes. The storyline, special effects, and action sequences are awesome! Don't miss the extras that show how the movie was made!

This is a great sequel to the remake of The Planet of the Apes. Very well done, great effects, good acting. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys the Planet of the Apes movies or similar.

A lot of remake movies are not as good as the originals, This one surpasses the original Planet of the Apes movies. The story line is much better and the visual effects far surpass the earlier versions. Very enjoyable movie.

It was a pleasure to see a packed theater of people seeing a planet of the apes movie in 2014. Matt Reeves created a new universe so fascinating that it makes you re think what it is to be human in this riveting scifi drama!

Great follow up to the first one, amazing performance as usual by Andy Serkis as Ceasar. This man has raised the game on motion capture and everyone should know his name.

And my review is that the rift between Ceasar & Kubo spells for a better Planet of the Apes! It's a close tie with being my favorite of the 3... War is a tight 2nd!

I think this was one of the best sequels to a movie in a long time. The story was very interesting, thought provoking, and the acting was pretty good. Obviously, like most movies today, the special effects were top notch.

Excellent movie. Saw it in the movie theater and new immediately that I needed to add this to the collection. Having watched the previous movie, this one picks up from the last with great acting, CGI, and story line.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE POTA. New and Old. I HIGHLY suggest this movie to anyone. Rise of the Planet of the apes is a must see as well. There will be a 3rd movie coming out In summer 2017. Brush up on your ape and buy this movie.
