Once again the mighty monkeys take over the screen. The story line and the imaginary work of the apes takes over our imaginary immagination. what if apes become intelligent and take over the world. Can this really happen?

Excellent FX, sets, story. Having lived in SF, I thought it was neat to see overgrowth in the city so well done. You could sense the feelings in the apes as they would be in humans. Story was well done and very enjoyable.

This was a terrific movie - very well done and dovetails right into its predecessor. Took a bit to see just how it did, but all came clear. I'm sure another will come out and if so, they will have a lot to live up to.

I'm a huge Planet of the Apes movie fan. This movie in 4K lived up to all my expectations. The clarity, sound and overall viewing experience was GREAT!!! This is 1 movie I don't regret buying in 4K.

This movie was great! I love the story & how everything played out...it leaves you wanting to see what happens next which isn't cool but at least it's something to look forward to!!! Overall; it's an excellent movie!!!!!

I liked both of the movies, but I have to say that this one edges out the first. The story is more about the aftermath of the experiment and begins to move into the territory of the movies that this remake is based on.

This is a very good movie, good story line and great 3D. I still don't know where the Apes get all of their bullets from while riding horses, none of them are seen carrying ammo, but they all keep shooting at full auto.

The first Planet of the Apes was a great movie but this 2nd one was amazing! It's hard to make a 2nd movie so good but they pulled it off with this one. It's definitely a must see and must own to add to your collection.

I've loved all the Planet of the Apes movies. I felt I got it for a really good price too, considering prices change all the time at Best Buy. Excited to purchase the newer one when it comes out!

I bought the best buy special edition. Loved it!! The graphics are amazing, good metal case. An excellent addition to my collection. Especially if you are a Planet of the Apes Fan. I would totally recommend this movie.

I must say that sequels usually don't do good but this movie is the exception. The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a greatly intense movie and a must own. If you think it will not be better than the 1st, think again.

My nephew wanted this movie for his Christmas gift. So happy Best Buy had it at a great price. He loved the movie . Always buy my nephews DVD's and video games at Best Buys for there lower prices and great selections.

This is how reboots/prequels should be done. The two recent additions to the Apes franchise have been smart slow burns, making wise choices and carefully planned steps forward. Bring on War of the Planet of the Apes!!

I saw this movie when it first came out but watching it at home in 3d on my LG OLED was incredible! The 3D was absolutely amazing! I loved this movie much better than the most recent one.

I had no desire to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but was pleasantly surprised. I was even more amazed by this follow-up. Though a remake of the franchise, it's an original, action-packed movie that actually packed a ton of emotion. I look forward to the inevitable third installment.

"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" is a great sequel/continuation to "Rise of the Planet of the Apes". It is a fantastic homage to the original films, using modern cinematic tech to make you believe apes are human too.

The movie had a credible plot and the characters were well cast. I did think that they would have shown a little more evolution in the progress of the ape's development, but otherwise very entertaining. This is good escapism genre and at the same time gives us something to think about!

Continuing the decently conceived and executed back-story for how the earlier Planet of the Apes movies might have evolved, so to speak, all of which were based on the original sci-fi novel by Pierre Boule (as I recall - spelling may need some work). The book was good too.

Great 3d effects in tree scenes especially looking up the trees. Good 3d in fight scenes.

The disc had no issues. This is a great sequel to the first movie. I like all three of these movies. They are worth watching multiple times.
