An incredible addition to the ape lineage...the special effects are phenomenal and the option to play this film in 3D is an wonderful bonus. Just ensure both your TV and DVD player allows for this function.

As a 3d tv owner i look for good deals on good 3d movies and the bulk of my library comes from Best Buy ! The 2nd in this series was surprisingly good and fairly well written and the effects were amazing in 3d, any Sci Fi fan or Planets... fan should enjoy this movie.

Andy Serkis is brilliant. These movies have done a great job of having us empathize with Cesar and his comrades. This trilogy has been a wonderful revelation! They need t be seen!!

I'd been waiting for both Planet of the Apes movies to drop in price and be available for Digital Download/VUDU. BestBuy had a nice sale to grab them both - prior to the upcoming movie! :-)

I hesitated at purchasing this movie even though I own all the other Planet of the Apes movie. Wondered if it would be burning out by now. I was so wrong. This Planet of the Apes movie is the best one yet!

Nothing is better than watching a 3D movie at home. I happen to really enjoy all of the Apes movies, and this one in 3D is spectacular.

I thoroughly enjoyed this as a well-made sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Again, the visual effects are spectacularly convincing, making you believe that each ape is physically there in front of the camera. But more importantly, the story is engaging and emotional.

I grew up on the original made for TV movies, and this movie as well as the first in the series are great. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, and keeps you wandering what will happen all the way through.

I can't believe the difference 3D makes in the series of Planet of the Apes! It is a remarkable movie and if you can see it in 3D I highly recommend it!

Taking place about 15 years after the last movie, this shows the rise of the apes concurrently with the decline of human civilization. Great performances from all, especially Andy Serkis and Gary Oldman.

I like this series of remakes. I hope they make more. The story line in this is great IMHO and very good action to story through out. If you liked the rise of the planet of the apes you'll love this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed this second edition to the Planet of the Apes series. The cinematic experience is like no other, they way the characters take on such humanistic qualities.

Blew me away how good it was. Was expecting a B movie and this was an A+. You could feel the intensity building and everything looked so realistic. An awesome sequel and must see.

Great movie in the Planet of the Apes series. It sets you up for the next movie when the humans attack the apes with nuclear weapons and changes the course of human and ape history on the palnet Earth.

it might have seemed like this franchise would have died out a long time ago. But no. The effects keep getting better, and the storyline keeps being fresh. Looking forward to more in the years to come.

The cgi rendering in this film is groundbreaking and incredible. Truly a lesson on amazing technical achievement. Great cover art makes a great part of the Steelbook set.

Planet of the Apes was one of the first movies I saw in the theater with my Dad as a young boy. It will always have a special place for me. I must say that I am enjoying the new ones very much. They Answer the questions I always wondered about from the movies of the 70s.

I have seen all the Planet of the Apes movie this one is right in line with the rest of them but the Apes definitely look a lot better more realistic in the story has a good plot.

Looks great on our 4k tv. Good action throughout the whole movie. Haven't had the chance to try out 3d but I'm sure it would be a bit scary in certain scenes with the function.

An excellent follow up into what I'm assuming will be a trilogy? The only down side is that I'm left anxious for the next one & the steelbook packaging is a must have for any collector!
