Planet of the Apes has always been a favorite of mine. This new chapters shed some light on what might have happened before the 1968 SAGA. The 3D is not as great as I have seen in other movies, but it's good enough to have a great time.

This sequel is much better than most sequels. The computer animation was pretty realistic. The apes and humans are at war and you're easily drawn into the movie. It's an action filled movie.

This is the continuation of the story where the original ended. We se the rise of the chimps and now in this sequel we se them superior to us. This is a great popcorn movie

My family and I were anticipating this movie being released on dvd. We went to the movies to see it and couldn't wait to watch it at home with the sound effects of our surround sound system.

A second movie in the continuation of the new Planet of the Apes movies. The movie is very interesting as humans and apes try to live together in a post-apocalyptic world.

Probable the best movie from the past 2 or 3 years, with the most real looking CGI I have seen and a great plot, the presents a movie to be in awe about.

This movie beat my expectations. The visuals were absolutely amazing, and the 3D, well I love it. I know that a lot of people don't, but I think when it's done right it can add to the movie.

This is the most memorable and realistic of the Planet of the Ape series. Andy Serkis is incredible as Cesear. The apes are the stars of the show and each one had a unique personality.

Planet of the Apes is one of my favorite series! So of course I love this one. The quality of the image is top notch. The sound is also great! A must have for your blu-ray movie collection.

rise and dawn are 2 very good movies. and the metalpak is a nice addition to the collection. so far these movies haven't gotten old, so as long at they keep me interested ill keep watching

Great acting and special effects. Really like the way this story is going instead of the older series. It's more believable. Must have on blu ray! I got it on sale for $8, can't beat that!

I can honestly say I may like this one more than the first one. There is a lot of action and a good story line. I was a big fan of the originals but this is the start of a good new series.

The movie is pretty good, and the picture and sound are excellent. As far as 3D, except for the larger fight scenes (which look great in 3D), it's really not necessary if you can get the 2D version a lot cheaper.

This is the 2nd movie in the reimagined Planet of the Apes series. Rather than focusing on its characters and subtext like the original '60's series did these movies focus on action. If you're in the mood for a good popcorn action movie check this one out
