This is a movie with VERY GOOD 3D. the movie is also really good, and if you liked the first one then you should totally get this movie in 3D.

I enjoyed this movie but they aren't taking the series in the direction I expected. Surprised by how much better a few years has made the cgi on the apes compared to the first one.

I love this movie. I love how the species knows how to communicate, they are united and mean business to protect their own!!

This movie had a great story. This DVD works as a gift for my mother. She loves the series and the dvd works perfectly with her surround sound.

This Planet of the Apes in this Alt Universe is by far the best film in the series. This film should be taught in schools and universities for all of the layering undertones presented within the story.

In a movie where the human characters are flat, the apes elevate it to a great movie. The mo-cap is incredible and the actors portraying the apes give you reason to care and be immersed in their world.

Whoa, things are sure different in San Francisco. If this is what it's like there now, I would highly recommend taking a trip to Southern California instead of Northern Cali. It just seems safer there.

Got this and the first Ape movie for a good deal. Liked the CG, well done. I like the fact that the humans are pretty much going to replaceable in each movie and more focused on the apes. Good movie.

If you enjoyed the first movie, the second one is even better. Picks up many years after the first movie. Great to see how the apes developed.

A very enjoyable movie, even if you are a fan of the originals and don't want to see any continuity issues. This is set way before they occur.

Watching this in 3D was amazing! Story lacked just a little but the surprise of not knowing what's going to jump out at you makes it a 5 star.

Purchased because the collectable steel case for the 3D version was $2 more than the normal Blu-ray. Best Buy it was! Awesome video and sound.

One of my favorite end of the world type movies of the last 10 years. Technology has really jumped forward with the apes. They look so real!

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was a great follow-up of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It was very well written - a very original storyline.

The technology used for the cgi in this movie is hands down award winning. I love this movie and how it moved the story along in the series.

The pictures in this movie made you feel like you were actually there with the characters. I have recommended this item to my friends to buy.

I loved this movie. Actually saw it in the theater so it was a no brainer to add it to my collection. Of course I already have the first one.
