Great special effects and excellent story combine for a tense human drama. A must see for lovers of apes with machine guns on horseback.

Got it to replace my non-3D version. Beginning of the new saga that has storyline better than original 60's series.

Ive been a fan of Planet of the apes since the 60s.This has a compelling story but not so "Deep" in philosophy where its boring.The 3d visuals really pop out in certain and engage the viewer .

The madness that grips elements of the surviving human population while repellant is uncomfortably all too human. In the end the apes reveal they exemplify the humanity we all long to express.

I enjoyed this movie better than part one... This movie was filmed in 3D, not post converted so it looks amazing if you buy 3D version.

Interesting concept in developing the storyline. Although the actors from the first do not return, there are no gaps in the plot at all
