Ok so I'm definitely a fan of the first one even though it was more of a tease for the follow up(this movie), so I went in with just excitement and wonder .I loved this sequel, amazing visuals and wanted more apes scenes,I LOVE the close ups, you start to feel for them. Can't wait for the third!

This movie is worth buying. I didn't get a chance to see it in theaters. So when it finally released on dvd, I was so anxious to see it. Everyone in my family said it was good. It was really weird seeing Caesar talking throughout the whole movie. But other than that this movie was awesome sauce.

Great cast of characters takes this franchise the next step forward. A lot more action packed with no real moments where you catch yourself looking at the clock. Andy Serkis is great as Caesar for his second go around and the next movie is setup well without sacrificing any of the movie's plot.

I really enjoy the incentive for buying bluray movies and getting theater ticket credits cause you're basically being able to enjoy both movies. Great deal best buy. I've enjoyed all the growth and evolution in the apes movies they never stop being powerful pictures.

This is a really great film and the 3d is as good as it gets. There was a scene where some people (not apes) are stuck in a collapsed tunnel, my wife and I both agree that 3d created a sense of claustrophobia that was a bit too realistic. Pretty effective illusion.

I was a massive fan of the whole planet of the apes series when I was a little kid. This doesn't replace the originals in my mind. Still, a tale of the apes rise to prominence and humanity's fall is a satisfying story for fan's in my opinion. Great movie. Hail Caesar

The movie was awesome. It was exciting and kept my attention throughout the entire movie. I bought this movie in blue ray so my family could enjoy the best quality and I was impressed. I pre-ordered the movie and it was in the store and ready for pickup on time. I cant wait for the next one.

the movie is one of the best sequels that i have ever seen. its a great installment to a great movie. i see this as a lead to another great episode to the saga of the planet of the apes. it is an will be in my top 10 of movie sagas of all time. keep the great work coming....

this movie focuses heavily on the apes. which is a different style most people are used to. the story is your typical best friend story. and especially how the war starts. youll know what im talking about when you watch the movie. it is a definate buy. and best buy has it at a great price.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes was a good film, nothing special, but enjoyable. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a powerhouse of a film, with incredible acting, directing, and special effects. This is a worthy successor to the Apes franchise.

Is this is a great movie and a great steelbook to match! This steelbook arrived in a timely manner and secured properly in the package. Another plus was the fact that the steel book was the same price as a non steelbook. Add this steelbook to your collection. You won't be disappointed.

This movie goes unbelievable places with the greatest ease it blows my mind. The apes are portrayed so tastefully and with such realism that suspension of disbelief is a nonissue. The balance between ape and human scenes and their interaction is great, and I really enjoyed the story.

I genuinely enjoyed this movie when I saw it in the theaters, but somehow the bluray made it seem even better. I have a 3D TV so I was able to take advantage of that, which is truly a treat! Picture and sounds are great, and the steelbook case is very nice too! Great for collectors!

This is turning out to be a great movie series, loved the first "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and this movie takes it to the next level. Really fun if you saw any of the original movies to see how things are shaping up this time around. Looking forward to the next installment.

I love the Planet of the Apes series. Weird concept when it originally came out, the updated versions are wonderful and will have you questioning the world as we know it. Originally watched it and missed the last 30 minutes so had to buy it, well worth the money for the ending.

I enjoy watching this movie whenever I get the chance. I think it is and will be labeled a classic so why not. The Steelbook is really nicely detailed for sure, and the extra content (discs, digital HD) is an added plus - especially at the price it is right now!

What makes this film so captivating is its deft balance between filling seats with promises of exhilarating action and stimulating intellectual and empathic connections to the lead characters on both sides of the conflict. Well worth multiple viewings!

Cannont wait for the third movie in the series! I loved the first one so much this one was a big step up, in terms of actors and action and feeling, connection to character, character development, plot movement. I could talk all day about how well they are doing this revamp.

Very interesting movie and a great sequel to the previous one. Although still a work in progress, the CGI is definitively better than in the first movie and the ape characters have real personalities, which helps the viewer in taking the movie more seriously. Worth watching.

Still a little bummed they didn't have any of the previous actors in this, James Franco and Caesar's relationship was so great. A little more action packed than the first, Gary Oldman helps carry the movie since most of the humans are boring.
