This movie is set in Austin, Texas back in the 1970's on the last day of school for a group of students. What ensues for the group is a non-stop day full of comedic situations that will have you laughing and wishing that your school's last day was filled with so much fun. Although you will be laughing throughout the entire film, a lot of the comedic portion of the film comes with the struggles that the every day teenager must struggle with, such as drugs, alcohol, partying, hazing, etc. So, sit back and get ready to enjoy a film full of laughs! Alright, alright, alright!

Can't recommend picking this up enough, an amazing film which inspires one to live and will definitely make you come out appreciating the time spent with the characters, great presentation with an amazing 70 page booklet with interesting character bios and essays, as well as a pretty cool poster and amazing packaging. Transfer is golden as well really crisp and great grain levels.

This a great movie from the past that never gets old.

A great movie that most 30 to 40 somethings can relate to on many levels. We all can relate to the end of the school year and summertime fun and cruising around and partying and the priority of getting ready for the next big concert to hit town. And than the sheer terror of being a freshman and doing whatever it took to not fall victim to upper class men making summer miserable

A fun classic of a simpler time for those born in that era, but maybe not fun for those who got hazed during there transition in school. Still a really good time.

If you haven't seen Dazed and Confused, it is a must see. The transfer on this Criterion bluray is phenomenal , and feels like you're watching it in the theater. If you're one who cares about package art and packaging, this is a very well made bluray case, and it comes with a nice booklet as well.

This movie gives you a Classic feel and is a must have for the real hipsters or wannabe's. The Original Hipsters were Denise Huxtable (The Cosby Show/A Different World) & Steve Urkle (Family Matters) if you didn't know.... But this movie introduced the hipster lifestyle and made it mainstream to the world.
