I was kind of disappointed in this movie, as it is a literal retelling of Deadpool 2. Yes it's a PG-13 version of the film, but essentially it's the same movie without the bad words. The only funny parts are the new scenes between Fred Savage and Deadpool, but it is about 20 minutes worth of the film time. The rest are just the same scenes from Deadpool 2, and the Blu Ray is just like the super duper cut of Deadpool 2 which I mean it's just the film no extras. Don't get me wrong I love the Deadpool movies but this one is just a huge miss. Save your money and purchase another film.

As much as I love the Deadpool Franchise, this was a complete let down. Maybe it’s my fault for not paying closer attention to the previews, but I didn’t not think this was going to be a retelling of Deadpool 2.

Seems it was billed as a different twist on the movie and i guess it was. I don't read reviews so i can enjoy the movie but this one i should have. Just a doctored up, cut up original that loses itself...

i bought the movie thinking it was something new....nope its just a pg13 version of deadpool 2 with some fred savage mixed in.

Love Ryan Reynolds and the Deadpool series so far but don't buy this if you have Deadpool 2. The new stuff isn't worth it.

If you want to evaluate it as a movie alone then no it is not as good, but I give this film kudos for becoming a movie with the ability to comment on itself, respond to haters, and troll the MPAA at the same time. I honestly can't think of a funnier way to taunt the people that hate Deadpool than to create a movie that comes out later in the same year, which is almost literally the exact same movie, that references itself but also puts it into the context of a meta-reference to a movie that came out over 30 years ago. Having Fred Savage represent the angst of Deadpool haters is just a fun way to respond to critics, regardless of whether you agree with the result. I admire this for its bitter desire to fight until the end. In addition, if you are a true movie and cinema fan you should welcome the opportunity to see how dumb and pointless the MPAA's put out on full display. To me this is interesting, in and of itself, as an ability to see what different cuts of a film would be like, on the big screen. I saw someone say that this would work better as a DVD extra and I agree but also disagree. If you are someone that is only going to watch one or two movies a month on the big screen then I agree, skip it and watch it some day as a DVD extra. But if you subscribe to a service or money isn't an especially big deal, I would suggest this for intellectual value alone but also I liked the last Deadpool 2.
