One of the best superhero/comedy movies out there.

At this point many have already seen DeadPool but for those who have not or are on the fence about letting their under 17 year old children see this film. I say that it is not bad. First off, DeadPool is not from my era of comics so I've learned recently about him and his followers. He is a modern day anti-hero who believes in doing the right thing for the right reasons and none of it is for the glory. In fact I would describe him more as a "neardoweller" who's been given a blessing/curse. The action is excellent, the language and conversation is foul but funny and unless you just cannot get into dirty humor, action and romance then this isn't for you. Chances are if your kids are playing any of the war video games they've heard the language and seen the violence. I am actually looking forward to the sequel. I enjoyed this a lot!

Hilarious movie, must watch. Not family friendly .

I wasn't sure what to think of this movie when going to see it in the theaters. Honestly I didn't know much about the Deadpool comic character other than what I had seen in video games and things like that. I'm not the biggest Ryan Reynolds fan either. But my wife was really excited to see this as she loves the character from the comics so we went opening weekend and I'm very glad we did. It is absolutely hilarious! Tons of inside jokes and crude humor. I've seen it described as a feature length episode of Family Guy with super heroes and I think that is a pretty good description. Of course, it is not appropriate for children so don't let the kiddos near it. But if R rated comedies are your thing then you can't do much better. The Blu-Ray is great with lots of extras on the disc. Overall, a great purchase I would definitely recommend.

Not a movie to watch with your kiddos or your GranGran

No, it's not for kids...but hilarious for adults! I don't really ever buy R rated movies, but a die-hard comic book friend recommended it & I'm glad he did.

What do you expect from Deadpool? He's been around the internet for a very long time, and he's well known for his 4th wall breaking and childish humor. So what do you expect from a Deadpool film? Exactly that. The film is childish, full if violence and gory with crude humor, and a dozen 4th wall breakage. Exactly what a Deadpool film should be. If you expect a "Avenger" type of super hero film, you're watching the wrong film, and you've probably lived behind a rock for some time if you don't know what Deadpool is about. This film delivers where it's expected. It's not Interstellar, A clockwork Orange or any other type of "awesome" films. It's Deadpool, and it delivers exactly what you expect of Deadpool; childish humor with gore and jokes, including breaking the 4th wall more times than you care to count.
