Hey All, This is a review of the steelbook packaging only, not the movie itself. The packaging, in short, is beautiful. Front to back, it screams Deadpool, the inner artwork being the loudest. Who couldn't love Deadpool posing seductively on a bear rug in front of a fireplace? The front & back covers of the case are adorned with the Deadpool emoji, split on the spine between the front and back. It also has a slightly distressed texture/pattern, which is perfect because, let's face it, Deadpool is more than just slightly distressed. Pair this with a matte/satin finish and you have an overall beautiful case. If you're a fan of the Deadpool movie, and are a steelbook collector, this is a must-have for your collection.

Saw this movie in the theaters and loved it. From the story to the action to delivery of content and humor by the cast and writers, there is no shortcomings to this film. Action is quick paced but bountiful and cinematography is very good for a movie that makes fun of itself. Video content is presented nicely with excellent contrast and fine detail; it mates very well to the dynamic sound stage. A high quality HT system will bring lots of life to this movie. As has been marketed and repeated over and over, this movie is NOT for kids. The character this movie is based on is over the top and the movie properly and accurately brings that to the big screen. Language is strong as are adult themes and no child under 16 or so should see this film.

First off, this is not a superhero flick for the younger kiddies by any stretch, and concerned parents are encouraged to watch it first before deciding on whether to let younger kids watch it. The tone of Deadpool is completely singular and for certain types, anyway, inescapably hilarious. This is defiantly not a superhero movie like say, Marvels Avengers. The Blu-ray picture looks fantastic from beginning to end. Though some of the computer generated shots aren't overly sharp looking, it still was an excellent quality picture. The audio is top notch as well. The DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 track (I only have 5.1) will keep your surround speakers going almost non stop and your subwoofer will defiantly get a good workout as well.

If you're looking at this BluRay, you probably already know how awesome it is! Let's be honest, you don't read the Best Buy reviews for the quality of the movie itself, and even if you do, you know better than to weigh it heavier than IMDB or film bloggers that review films for a living (or at least as a professional hobby). You're here, reading this, because you want to know if this is worth getting in the UHD format for your brand new 4k HDR TV. Well, rest assured, though this is not the most beautiful film you will watch on your new 4K TV (Mad Max, for instance, may take this seat), it is one of them, and 4K really helps to bring this film to life! Get this and enjoy Deadpool in 4K; you won't regret the decision!

Ryan Reynolds knocked it out of the park. Poking fun at his role as Green Lantern a couple different times, making fun of the producers being cheap, etc. "Breaking the 4th wall" adds an extra layer of hilarity to the movie (Deadpool is aware he's a comic book character and speaks directly to the audience throughout the movie). Good stuff. Not your typical superhero movie though. Obviously with this rating, it's best to save this one for the adults. Also, some of the humor may be a bit sophomoric for the older crowd, so keep that in mind. I say grab your favorite stuffed unicorn, comfy pair of Crocs, and sit back and enjoy this one. Also, stick around for a bit of Matthew Broderick-esque fun after the credits start rolling.

A little late to the party on this one but have been wanting to pick it up for quite some time a good pick up lot of fun to watch

Nice compliment to any collection. Case is awesome, but nothing extraordinarily different between this and the base blu Ray copy.

Not all that great to me. Maybe I was expecting too much after so many good reviews. But overall I still enjoyed it.

Deadpool is a movie that has plenty of adult humor and action to have you on the edge of your seat. This will be a great franchise and Ryan Reynolds is superb as Deadpool. I can't think of anyone who could pull it off like he does. I know a lot of die hard fans would love to see a Deadpool / Wolverine movie and it would have to have Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The extras are good however, I imagine the budget was less to make this movie than we have grown accustomed to with the rest of the Marvel Universe. With that being said, I would have loved more outtakes / extra scenes with Reynolds and TJ Miller. I imagine the two of them after having a liquid lunch would have dialogue that would have a truck driver blushing. I hope with the sequel there is more interaction between the two. I highly recommend this movie so that when you are done with Iron Man or Captain America movies with the kids you and the rest of the parents can put the kids to bed and kick back with a few libations and keep the action hero theme going on a much more adult level!!!

Ok... First off... This film is rated R due to violence and language and content... So before parents go all "but it's a Marvel film", I will preface this by saying the comic book is much the same... Check your ratings and be advised. Now that I've got that cleared up for those who missed the valley of "What were you thinking" remarks to parents taking their kids to the movies, I'll move on with my review. The film is great. Definitely one you have to watch more than once to catch all the subtle jokes and inferences. Highly rated for all... But not for kids!!! (and that includes the 6 year old at Best Buy who says 'mom says I can get this'... Your mom's wrong kid! And good stop by the gal at the register!)

This is a really good movie. It is extremely funny but please take notice of the rating. This movie is not for young children!

not the typical superhero movie for the younger crowd, this one balances action and humor for the adult audience

I saw this movie in theaters and already it was a hit for me. So of course I was already anticipating the Bluray release so that I may enjoy the cinema of Deadpool in the comfort of my own home. The Bluray itself is like any movie but just owning a steel case as a collectible is always worth the effort to purchase and locate. I love all the bluray releases that entail a steel case release. It just looks cooler and is not availability everywhere. The features are fun and worth the price alone. I recommend the purchase of any collectible steel case from Best Buy as long as you can find them. They sell out quick. Two thumbs up on the movie of course and two thumbs up for the steel case edition!

Great quality picture. Might as well upgrade to 4K Ultra HD if you have a high end TV. Definitely makes a difference.

I bought this blu-ray to test out my new set up: 70" LG 4k tv, Onkyo receiver (with Dolby Atmos), 5.1.2 speaker set up, and an Xbox One. I'm happy to report that this movie hit all the marks to deliver a great picture and great sound. I may not have the the best set up, but for what I have, the movie was awesome. The movie itself is awesome. There is bias since I am a fan on Deadpool and comic books in general. You can really tell the creators and start really want to make something faithful to the character. This movie may not be for everyone, but if you want a good laugh with low brow jokes and an anti-hero, Deadpool is your guy.

I really wasn't familiar with Deadpool before the film and I wasn't too excited about it when I saw the trailer; I thought there was too much humor. It turns out that that is just part of it's charm. I absolutely LOVE this movie!!!! The "R" rating gives the film the opportunity to be what it wants to be: an action-packed, no-holds-barred, violent, hilarious, off-color superhero movie that features a wisecracking lead character that makes the film most enjoyable. The in-jokes are plentiful and hilarious. The extras include 2 commentaries, gag reel, deleted/extended,scenes, background, and different trailers and tv spots. I highly recommend this film. I can't wait until Deadpool 2.

Wade's life got flipped, turned upside down. I'd like to take a minute so sit right there, and I'll tell you how he became a hero full of wit and despair. If you have to read Best Buy reviews to decide whether or not to buy this movie, then you probably just shouldn't. There's not a lot to be said other than how great this movie is. It looked gorgeous on Blu Ray, and is packed with lots of special features that will have you laughing long after the movie ends. Rewatching it with the commentary was hilarious and a lot of fun. I've always been a bargain bin shopper when it comes to buying physical media, but I paid full price for this movie and have no regrets,

If you like superhero, action, or adventure movies with loads of wise cracks (many of them R-rated), this movie will not disappoint. I typically do not like movies with superfluous violence or cursing or raunchy humor, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this movie as it combined all of the above in excellent origin story for yet another superhero movie (but this one is unlike the others). Great entertainment, in spite of some cringing moments with the humor. Special features are aplenty, with lots of deleted scenes, a feature-length making of documentary, loads of trailers and teasers, and lots of production photos. A blu ray well worth the investment!

First off, know the source material before you judge it. This was never meant to be a "kids" movie and thank god they never turned it into one. Not all films based on comics or graphic novels, are necessarily made for kids. There are plenty of comics that are made for adults and people who enjoy comics at an older age. Judge a film based on what you know it to be. Soccer moms, don't be stupid and judge the movie on what you thought you were going to bring your 6 year child to go see. Stop rating these movies and all these films as all in the same cause there not. Deadpool = perfect movie that is honest to the source material and what it's always meant to be.

Very funny and a really great movie that breaks the mold of the MCU films. Definitely targets the "adult" audience.
