Purchased this movie for the family. Very funny movie.

I have to admit, I have a sick sense of humor so this movie was right up my alley. When I saw it in the theatre, I laughed so much and then recommended it to all my friends. It is probably my favorite Marvel movie even though the character of Deadpool was never a favorite of mine before the movie. I waited until I finally bought a 4K UHD player to buy the movie and I'm glad I did. The 4K quality is fantastic and there are hours of extras.

The next time they make a list of the 100 movies you have to watch, this movie should be in the top 5. Blood and guts, comedy and oh yeah more blood and guts. Good story line from start to finish with no slow drawn out back story filler. Whether your into comedy, blood and guts or comic book movies, this movie is definitely for you. Anyone offended by my use of blood and guts should stay away from this money because your probably to up tight to enjoy it anyway.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this movie. it was truly one of the better of all of the superhero movies made in the last 10 years. It is very different. Let me clear, it's not made for kids. With that being said if you don't mid a little off color humor surrounded by a lot of naughty language this is your movie. It reminds me of the Hangover, the more I watch it the better and funnier it gets. I absolutely loved it but then I like this type of humor.

Brought to life better than anyone expected, Deadpool captures the character perfectly: His joking manner, breaking the fourth wall and doesn't hold back with amazing violence and cursing. Ryan Reynolds is perfect in the role and the extras (commentary by him and the writers and director) enhance fhe experience along with features on how they made it all work. Even if you're not a regular comic book fan, you can adore this action hit and fantastic comedy to boot.

Billed as Marvel Comics sexiest anti-hero, Deadpool is rated R for a reason. This film is full of sex, violence, gore, and foul language to the max! It is definitely not a family oriented picture, with its theme of revenge amongst survival. It is a back story of the main character and has a lot of dark and dumb humor and will no doubt become a cult classic with several more sequels, as long as the fan base for this raunchy type of action/ adventure, superhero/ mutant holds out. I like the genre this came out of (Marvel), but this character is not my cup of tea, and for those with a queasy stomach, it will be very hard to watch. If you are one of that nature, please don't put a lot of that greasy fake butter on your popcorn when you view this one.

Ok, so of course the sound and picture are crystal clear, but the movie itself is fantastic. Ryan Reynolds delivers a performance that is equal parts action and straight up comedy. The pace never slows and neither does the humor. Young and old will be entertained by this film. The sequel is great too.

It's everything Deadpool fans having been wanting from the character! With lead Ryan Reynolds - who is pretty much a real-life Deadpool, with less killing (I assume) - Ryan owns the character and brings all the sarcasm and wit of the character to screen as well as the humor and violence. While the plot is a pretty basic revenge-flick, from the the moments the opening credits start (well-worth watching them) to the closing credits end, Deadpool is hilarious!

This film was so great, although not for the whole family, it pushed the "R" rating to the limit with all of the hankypanky, drugs, and video tapes...and the violence the glorious violence. With me being comic book aficionado I explained several times to relatives, co-workers, and associates that this Merc with a Mouth doesn't play by the normal rules and this one is not for the kids unless you are ready to have mature conversations with your little ones.

Of course Deadpool is a fantastic movie in itself with the breaking the fourth-wall and adult humor. Also, making fun at other superhero movies with their typical and foreseeable plots makes Deadpool that much more hilarious, not to say that the movie's plot is much different. The steelbook case is very detailed and the fact that the paperback sleeve is glued to the case and Deadpool's pose insert inside the case makes the extra 5 dollar price worth it.

Deadpool was funny and entertaining from beginning to the end! Much better adaptation of the character than in X-Men: Origins Wolverine. The Merc with a Mouth does a great job of breaking the Fourth Wall during the film and engaging with the audience. Can't wait for Deadpool 2 and the introduction (possibly) of Cable! Ryan Reynolds perfect actor (embodiment) of Wade Wilson/Deadpool. Some actors were just meant to play certain roles and this is Reynolds.

I have been waiting for this movie to be made for a long time and had very high expectations so I was a bit apprehensive going in. I am happy to say this movie met and surpassed my expectations. It was one of the funniest and true to comic superhero movies I have seen in a long time. Ryan Reynolds is perfect as Deadpool and I cannot wait for the second one. If you're looking for a hilarious and awesome super hero movie look no further then Deadpool!

Deadpool is the movie for the fan who loves comic books. It's the movie for the superhero fanatic. It's the movie for comedy fans. It's the movie for action fans. And it's the movie for someone who doesn't even consider themselves any of those. It's a laugh riot, a tour de force of action, and the R-rated superhero movie that nails every beat. Don't miss out on this modern superhero classic. It will redefine the way you look at the genre!

This is the Deadpool we have been waiting for! If you are a Deadpool fan, you must see this movie but do not watch it with your kids! There is a lot of comedy and action in this movie and it washes away the bad taste that was left from X:Men Origins: Wolverine. I just watched Deadpool with a friend of mine that is not a fan of Deadpool and he really liked it. If you are on the fence about watching or purchasing this movie, take the risk and watch it!

Seriously!! One of the best!! I had to watch it over and over again just to get all of the one liners in the film! I highly recommend watching it with the subtitles! You'll thank me later! The extras are just as funny! If you have seen all of the Marvel movies, then you'll love how Deadpool kicks them all in the face and makes you laugh while he is doing it! Can't wait for the sequel!! Make sure you watch past the credits!

I didn't get an opportunity to see this in the theaters due to my busy schedule but I had heard nothing but good things about it. Everyone told me I needed to see it but I had my mind set on buying it on release day on Blu-ray. Usually, with such high expectations, I am disappointed but I must say that Deadpool lived up to the hype for me. Hilarious, raunchy and yet the leader in making comic book movies rated R from here on out. Highly recommended.

Fox owns the rights to Deadpool, not Marvel, but to me he is still a Marvel character & on point with all of the other superhero/comic book character movies made by Marvel. Ryan Reynolds gave a great performance and I loved him as Deadpool and thought Fox did a great job with this one. It was funny, witty, & entertaining, but definitely one for the adults. I personally wouldn't let young children view this. Can't wait for Deadpool 2 ! :)

MARVEL's best films, in my opinion, are not any in the MCU...its the FOX X-Men franchise. Yes, The Last Stand, Origins, and Apocolypse were weak...but still had some good funny moments. But X-men fans wanted a true adaptation of this iconic character...DEADPOOL! Ryan Reynolds was born to play this part...and he has...just the first time didn't count. This R rated comic book comedy action film surprised everyone!
