I found Deadpool to be a hilarious adventure. R-rated and rightfully so, my wife is not into many super hero movies. She's more of the X-men and X-men only type of person, but I dragged her to Deadpool anyway. She walked out of the theater amazed and saying it was awesome! We purchased it on Blu-ray just so she could watch it. She sent trailers to her friends, her PARENTS....etc. She was encouraging everyone to watch it. It was excellent.

Of course, funny as can be! What happened is I purchased 1 and 2 together, then the movies went on sale seperately for half the price i paid for the combo. Then I looked again today, the combo was on sale for less than the two individual movies. BestBuy is like that, u always gotta stay on top of your purchases after you buy them here.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time Ryan Reynolds was the perfect actor to play Deadpool just be forewarned that this movie is not a typical superhero movie and parents be aware that this is not for children don't let your kids watch it because if they repeat anything that Deadpool says you're probably going to ground them LOL you have been warned hahaha but for adults you gotta watch it it's so funny and full of action

Who else is sick of the level of PC in every movie now? ME! And, apparently Mr. Reynolds is too... and I (for one) am very grateful for his patience in sticking to the making of this film. Not for kids (non-stop adult humor). Obvious graphic violence. But easily the best SuperHero movie I've had the pleasure of seeing. ...and... "Oh Yes!"...I am complete smartalek in life, so DP's humor couldn't have hit the mark better. Can't wait for #2!

When I was growing up it seemed every genre of movie had a Leslie Nielsen movie (or a "Scary Movie") that made fun of it. For some reason comic book movies have become a global sensation without this perspective, that is until Deadpool came along. Not only is Deadpool a R rated romp in a genre that is concerned with being family friendly, but it makes fun of the genre in a way that would make Leslie Nielsen proud. Highly recommended.

Without a doubt one of the funniest and most original superhero films ever! Ryan Reynolds finally gets to break out from under the dark clouds of Green Lantern and R.I.P.D and show us exactly who he is, a funny, dramatic actor who can carry a film on his own! If you've started to burn out on the Marvel Cinematic Universe then this is the film to reel you back in! The comedic content mixed with the action sequences are perfect! 5 stars out of 5!

Ryan Reynolds might be the perfect person to play a smart-mouth wisecracking degenerate with self-healing mutant power. The Deadpool character might be my favorite anyway but add in JT Miller as the comic relief, crazy action sequences, the insults towards the pain in the neck IKEA furniture names, a hot love interest and well-timed references to other marvel characters and their respective franchises and you have a near perfect action comedy.

First off, not a movie for any kids you're not prepared to have certain conversations with... That being said, the entire movie is entertaining at every scene. Some people may have to watch a few times in order to catch all the minor details but the main story itself is rather simple to follow and enjoyable. What surprised me the most is that the fighting and bloodshed isn't (in my books at least) over the top - it feels natural and realistic.

Saw on TV first. Funny, fun, frivolous, unnecessarily vulgar, but that's the character unfort. That dimension lends little-to-nothing to his character and lessens mass / 4-quadrant appeal. Maybe the Marvel people were bored and felt they were underserving a market when they developed his character, which they likely were. Early teens don't "need" to see it for a while, regardless of what they may see in an "unsanctioned" fashion among friends, etc. Again, the action nudity did nothing to advance the movie. All that said, wish it had a 3D version! Will def see any sequels. I'd recommend to a friend if they didn't mind more of the seemingly endless parade of unnecessary factors which contribute to the R-rating, but not to minors, YMMV.

Awsome movie. However, I am so glad that I waited until my kids were a half mile away from home before I watched this movie. This is definitely not a kids movie. Otherwise, it was fun to watch. Sometimes, it was uncomfortable to watch. If you like anti-hero, off kilter kind of action movies with some filthy jokes and language thrown in then you are going to love this movie. I would recommend this movie to my friends. But not my friend's kids.

To me, this is the best romantic comedy. While I love the movie, the real reason why I purchased this was to test my new HT system. I needed a 4K to compare against a regular Blu-Ray. For my setup, the 4K was marginally better but from the reviews I've read, the difference was supposed to substantial. Maybe the OPPO upconverts so well that it makes up for the difference. In any every, great movie and great transfer.

First off, Deadpool was my favorite comic growing up. Marvel went out on a limb filming an R rated superhero movie, and wow did it pay off. Ryan Reynolds delivers flawless, deadpan, one-liners throughout the movie epitomizing the essence of what Deadpool is and was... an anti-superhero. Dont miss out on the action, comedy, and epic soundtrack that is Deadpool. *cue Careless Whisper by George Michael

this is the first best graphic novel to movie ever made. no other comic book movie has so truthfully, faithfully been ported from paper to screen like this one. that's why it was so well received and did so well in theaters. the UHD does not fail to impress on either the deep hued video or on the superior Dolby ATMOS soundtrack. I've got a 7.1.4 and I can't recommend going ATMOS enough. this movie helps bring out your investment!

Joyfully crude, irreverent, and utterly unapologetic. Nudity, profanity and violence are splattered all over this movie like sprinkles on a doughnut. Not. For. The. Kiddies. A gleefully fun superhero action flick and even likes to poke fun at itself (and many other superhero franchises as well...catch the fun scene at the end of the credits too...all around a great movie and a worth addition to add to one's superhero movie collection.

I went review the movie itself other than to see it's really good. What I will focus on is Best Buys limited edition steel books, especially as of late. I'm a bit of a collector of all things superheroes so these Best Buy exclusives are great and the bonus features and extras are great. Target, Walmart and Amazon have their own versions too but Best Buy tends to have the best ones and at a great price.

Saw this film in the theaters. Believe the hype. Ryan Reynolds IS Deadpool. He owns the character. This is definitely not a film for kids (and we have brought my 7-year old to see Civil War). T.J. Miller holds his own as Weasel. The Blu-Ray has a lot of great bells and whistles: commentary, deleted scenes.... If you like superhero films, then you probably have this already. If not, what the &%^@ is wrong with you? GET THIS NOW!!!!

This movie exceeded my expectations and more, it captured the very essence of deadpool and the humor was the greatest part of the movie, breaking the fourth wall and all of the shots at xmen and how that franchise was handled. To me this is the best comic book movie to date, simply because it was bold and took a lot of risks, it wasn't afraid of making its own identity and setting it apart from your cookie cutter comic book movies.

that don't like movies made from comic books. The challenge is that most of them require you to be deeply into their universe for the movies to be enjoyable and I'm not. I won't be trying. This movie, then, comes at a time and basically flips a finger at all those other movies with their genre self-deprecation style. It was actually the second UHD disc I bought (after Planet Earth II) and I've enjoyed it immensely.

Every now and then Marvel or DC need to make action movies for adults, and in that respect, I mean "R" rated. If you have thought about Deadpool for the kids, that's probably a bad idea, it is an adult movie. On the other hand, the action is great, the story, complex but understandable, and the gags/jokes are hilarious. I look forward to a sequel and consider it one of the best Marvel has done. Wonder if he can meet the Star Lord?

You like action? You like comedy? You like superheroes? You like smart-@$$ dialog that just doesn't quit?? Buy this dang movie, it's truly one of the best superhero action/comedy/love stories you'll ever see. Now, keep in mind, it's not suited for the faint of heart and there are jokes that reference material for us elders. Who remembers Sinéad O'Connor? This guy! Seriously, every line is witty or funny or downright irreverent. Enjoy
