I missed Deadpool in the theaters, but remember hearing about the R rating, a first for Marvel. Sometimes they are a little conservative in their ratings, but a good call for this movie. If you are easily offended, this is not the Marvel movie for you - even the checkout clerk warned me. If you are NOT easily offended, this is a fun movie, looks aren't everything! Deadpool would have to play nicer if he was ever an Avenger.

Deadpool has always been a favorite character of mine but I was wary of this movie since they screwed the character up so bad in the Wolverine movie. I started to come around when I saw the leaked material and was blown away by the actual movie. Probably one of the best, true-to-character superhero movies out there. They only left out the CHIMICHANGAS! Go get this movie, it deserves to be in every movie fan's collection!

First I want to say that this money is for Adults. That is the target audience based on the humor and graphic content. I laughed while reading the opening credits and continued pass the ending credit, which had a homage to Ferris Beuller. Watching it again I caught lines that I missed the first time and laughed some more. It is a great comedy action money. Oh yeah, there is a love story in it. :-)

The Blu-ray release of Deadpool is totally worth picking up as the value is there. It includes the Blu-ray disc as well as the DVD disc and a digital copy for you to stream in an app on the go. The bonus features are not short as you'll find yourself watching for hours. Totally recommend this version. Let's face it, you need to own a physical copy of Deadpool as the movie just rocks! Check out the soundtrack CDs as well!

This is the best Marvel movie ever. I was not even a fan of Deadpool as a kid when I read comic books. I was only ever interested in this movie because of the trailer. Now I am a HUGE Deadpool fan. This is not for children as there are a lot of curse words (like almost every other word), and love scenes. But if you are an adult, who loves comic book movies, or even just funny action movies, then this is a MUST OWN movie.

Deadpool is not your daddy's comic book movie. Thanks to the timeline reset of X-Men Days of Future Past, Deadpool was remade in the appropriate way that is true to the spirit of his comic book. He is raw, he is crude, and Ryan Reynolds is the perfect actor to portray him. This movie is great for the comic book junkie and any causal viewer. It is funny, full of action, and sets up Deadpool nicely for future appearances.

This film looked great in 1080p, but in no way compares to the great picture and experience this film provides in native 4k. There is another level of clarity and crispness that cannot be explained through a review. "Lifelike" is probably the best adjective that comes to my mind. I would most definitely recommend this purchase to someone with a 4k blu-ray player or Xbox One S (what I used to view the film in 4k).

This is by far one of the better comic book films out there. If you're into R-rated comedies and comic book films, this movie is for you. Ryan Reynolds was the perfect casting choice for this despite him previously playing the character in a somewhat lackluster role (I feel this was most likely a writing/directing issue though). A great film overall in what's a pretty much standard Blu Ray package with a digital copy.

This is a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, but it is in no way for children, unless you want to poison their minds. But it is full of teen male, sensual and lowbrow humor, They really nailed Deadpool from the comics and this blu-ray contains many extras, that I just kept going through. Definitely get this if you like MCU AND if you can take mature humor. (wow, my first attempt at a review got nixed for saying se+ual)

The movie is easily the best film made in the X-Men universe. Not necessarily for young children but fantastic for everyone else. Funny, action packed, and stars God's perfect idiot. Right from the get go I was laughing and didn't stop. The steelbook packaging shows maximum effort. Great graphics, one of the hilariously classic promo photos used on the inside, just all around great packaging for a great film.

This character was made for Ryan Reynolds. He nails everything from beginning to end, never skips a beat, never faulters, delivers a super hero In the way only Ryan could. It's laughing from beginning to end. Now, if you have a difficult time with bad language you might want to skip this, but the language makes the movie. Buy it, rent it, see it at friend's, watch it on your Android.....whatever you do SEE THIS MOVIE!

I really wanted the combo pack with both 1&2 on Dvd, or even, like this edition, one that is Blu-ray/DVD. Alas, there did not seem to be one manufactured to satisfy this qualification. Tis the only reason for disappointment.

This movie is insane. It is violent, hilarious and just plain fun. I was a comic geek but never read DEADPOOL in comic form and liked it just fine. In fact, I think they could have left everything about the X-MEN out of this film and it would have been just as good. I guess they wanted to tie it into the other movies but there really was no need. This film is easily better than every X-MEN movie put together.

Sure, I'll see all the big Marvel movies and I'll 'oooo' and 'aaaahhh' at this fight, that fight and every cool looking explosion. I like popcorn movies, just like anyone else. But after a while, they all start to feel, look and sound the same. DEADPOOL was a real breath of fresh air. Tons of pop culture references and irreverence aplenty. So glad that I saw this. BluRay has a TON of bonus footage that's fun too!

I bought the uhd version of this just in case I go 4k. The bluray has amazing picture quality and an excellent 7.1 DTS master track. I look forward to listening to the Dolby Atmos track on the uhd disc one day. The movie itself is violent, crass and quite fun. There's a good amount of bonus features on the bluray including deleted scenes, concept art, all the great teaser spots promoting the release of the movie.

I love marvel and this movie was amazing. Ryan Reynolds is the perfect choice for Deadpool and I can honestly say I don't think anyone else would fit the part. The effects they did on his mask to make his facial expressions move is impressive. The story, the dialogue, the fact that Cable is teased I loved everything. I would just recommend to NOT watch this with your children, because it is rated R for a reason.

Definitely not a movie to watch with kids as this is not a kids superhero movie. My wife & I have watched the movie numerous times and love it. The only problem I have is there are no 4k computer drives & 4k software to allow playback of 4k from a computer. As the $2k computer I just built is our HTPC & gaming computer all in one it was rather disappointing to realize we could only watch this in 1080p for now.

Deadpool is an awesome anti-hero, and the character lends itself to comedy. I am happy the studios didn't mess around with the character, unlike they did in that Wolverine movie that completely ruined Deadpool at the time. The bonus appearances by Colossus and whatever the spunky X-Men girl's name is just added flavor. They should give an Oscar Award for best superhero movie of all time to this one.

Deadpool is a great movie! A lot of action, laughs, and fun! This is not the typical superhero movie though, definitely not child friendly. I'd advise watching it before you consider letting your children watch it if you have any. Otherwise it was great, Ryan Renyolds does a fantastic job and so does the rest of the cast. The Steelbook was on sale for the same price as bluray when I got it and it looks awesome!

Definitely not a movie to sit and watch with your young children or grandparents... Awesome pacing, good action sequences - in the mantra of a superhero movie. Lots of good one-liners and mild twists in the story with the broken timeline narrative. Still smiling internally at certain scenes - the IKEA naming for ex, the gathering of all the guns. Bonus features are also pretty good on the Blue Ray.
