Deadpool had a very strong marketing campaign going into release, and it sure did deliver. Raunchy, hilarious, great romance story even if it's unconventional and self aware. Ryan Reynolds fully delivers and proves like RDJ as Tony Stark, HE IS MADE FOR THE ROLE! Best Buy delivers a very cool steelbook, upside down title logo on spine and all. Was a day one purchase and one I will be watching again and again.

This movie was much better than I expected it to be but I am not a follower of comic book lore. So I really had no previous knowledge on the Deadpool character however this movie provided a solid backstory. Furthermore the story was very interesting, there was plenty of humor and the performances were very good. The inclusion of "X-Men" characters did seem weird but worked well. I cannot wait for the sequel.

This is just a great all round superhero movie. It has everything that you would want from such kind of movie; the action/violence, character development, story, good acting, etc. However, this is meant to be geared for adults, not kids. It has a lot of gory violence, crude jokes, and in general, has nothing in it intended for kids enjoyment such as jokes for kids or otherwise kids "funny" moments.

This may be my favorite Fox Marvel movie, if not it is in the top 3. It is funny and from what I hear very true to the character personality-wise. There's plenty of action as well. I'm not a big super hero comic book fan (especially Deadpool) but I enjoy them enough to own a decent amount and I really liked this movie. It is a huge improvement from Ryan Reynolds's Character in the Wolverine Origins movie.

Marvel's Deadpool is the prefect marriage to Ryan Reynolds. He played DC's (Hal Jordan) Green Lantern without success. Mainly because Hal Jordan was not a fun character in the comics. But Wad Wilson (Deadpool) is and has always remained funny. So when Reynolds but on the Red and Black suit, it was GOLD! I can't wait for the sequel. And, Wolervine vs Deadpool. Come on Hugh Jackson, suit up one more time.

Keep the kids away. Little kids who have never read a comic book are obsessed with this character and will try to convince parents to let them watch it. It's completely inappropriate for young kids and when parents complain and make a big stink, we can no longer have nice things. If you let your kid watch it and there are adverse effects, then you are bad at parenting, it isn't the movie companies' fault.

I enjoy superhero movies in general, and this one in particular. It is funny, quirky, and very adult! This isn't one for the kiddos. But if you're looking to watch a movie with lots of off-color humor peppered in with the action after the kids have hit the sack, you'll enjoy this. I ordered this online and picked it up in the store, and the process was quick and easy. A great experience all the way.

With all the superhero movies out right now I didn't know what to expect with this one. However, that being said, this movie was well done. Ryan Reynolds went up several notches in this movie and I was very impressed with his impromptu adlibs. He seems to get better with every movie. I know it wasn't considered a very good movie but I especially liked him in The Green Lantern movie as well. Well done!!!

Just because this is a "superhero" movie does NOT make it appropriate for kids. Don't get me wrong - it's an awesome film - but it's about as adult as it gets. Over a hundred F-bombs, gratuitous violence, and some sexy time. You don't want to explain this stuff to your kids, but if you enjoy a crass, sophomoric sense of humor and a self-awareness to rival any guru, then this movie is for (the 18+) you!

Not your average superhero movie and defiantly not for the kids. Deadpool pokes fun at all kinds of different subjects and you will have to watch this several times to catch all of them. He even pokes fun at the actor that is Deadpool and of course he breaks the "4th Wall." This is crude, violent and risque - but totally funny and enjoyable. There is no one like Deadpool and we can't wait for Deadpool 2

I got this blu ray on sale as I missed it in theaters. I collected comics around the time Rob Leifeld was drawing for Marvel. i recall easily Deadpool and Cable. Talk about a disturbed, morbid but kind of fun character back then. The movie did a great job bringing the personality of Deadpool to life. It's a pottymouth story for sure but also a good origin story. I do find it strange how actors are finding themselves in both DC and Marvel universes. Ryan Reynolds was the Green Lanters for DC and now Deadpool for Marvel. The woman who plays his woman in this movie also plays Jim Gordon's ex on DC's Gotham tv series. Anyhow, great flick! The hype is right so if you're curious, check it out.

While this film is inappropriate on all levels, it is impossible not to be drawn in by the characters and story as well as by the comedy. While I did miss a few Deadpool aspects, such as multiple personalities as his inner voice, I concede that would be difficult to carry out without confusion. The villain may be a little one-dimensional, but the fun and action help to make up for it.

Love deadpool hige fan of comics so when i found out they were making a deadpool movie i was excited and scared i seen how Hollywood butchered the xmen and the new fantastic 4 movie i was afraid this was going to fail hard but was blown away by the previews. I seen the movie twice in theaters and bought the movie as soon as i could ryan does a great job as deadpool and im excited to see the second film

Let's start off by saying that this isn't for kids. If you are familiar with the comics, you already knew that. If not, this is irreverent, vulgar, violent, and one of the best superhero movies of all time. This was probably the best Deadpool movie we could've expected. Deadpool fans will love it, and if you like vulgar and violent action and comedy, you'll be a fan of Deadpool 10 minutes in.

Many fans of comic books turned movies will be taken by surprise, but those that are actual fans of comics as well as Marvel vs Capcom, have expected and anxiously awaited Deadpool's on-screen arrival. It amazes me to hear that there are parents who did not do their homework on this one and took their children to the theater to watch. Definitely a big no no. The action combined with constant wittiness provides maximum entertainment for those that enjoy a crude flick. They don't hold back much. Although it could have done without the whole love story, it doesn't seem to really take away the intended vibes. Overall, it's one of the most entertaining films I've seen. In conclusion, Ryan Reynolds is amazing.

Four years later, I still can’t believe we actually got a Deadpool movie. This movie was just fantastic, Ryan Reynolds absolutely killed this role! Even the story was really and it was really funny. The 4K also looks great in the movie and it made the action scenes look very smooth. Highly recommend this movie!

I loved this movie in the theaters. The only thing better was to be able to watch it at home. The movie is awesome and the extras were hilarious. While I would recommend this to anyone who is a true fan of real comic book superheroes it definitely deserves its R rating and I am eternally grateful that they kept to the true spirit of Deadpool here. Sorry kiddies but this one is for mommy and daddy.

Best marvel movie so far that Disney didn't screw up. The best part is Disney did it right by having Ryan Reynolds continuing Deadpool cuz he nailed it. But Disney could of had more X-men in this movie instead of an empty house and there's only 2 characters in Xaviers mansion. That part sucks! Can't afford any more X-men for the picture but able to raise ridiculous admission prices for theme park!

Funniest Marvel movie ever!!! Bought one for each of my kids and once the youngest moves out, will have to get one for me. Or I will just steal his...I did buy it after all. Be warned, it is a HARD R. NSFW OR CHILDREN. Nudity and a generous use of the F word and other colorful language. If you have a colorful family you won't bat an eye, but keep the kids earmuffed and out of the room!

I thought this was fantastic, but Deadpool was already one of my favorite Marvel characters to start with. Much more violent than the Avengers, Captain America, type of movies, and a large amount of language not appropriate for young Marvel fans. This movie definitely earned its R rating, both for language and an adult love scene. Definitely my favorite movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
