My fave film of 2016 gets a stellar 2160p upgrade!

What do you expect from Deadpool? He's been around the internet for a very long time, and he's well known for his 4th wall breaking and childish humor. So what do you expect from a Deadpool film? Exactly that. The film is childish, full if violence and gory with crude humor, and a dozen 4th wall breakage. Exactly what a Deadpool film should be. If you expect a "Avenger" type of super hero film, you're watching the wrong film, and you've probably lived behind a rock for some time if you don't know what Deadpool is about. This film delivers where it's expected. It's not Interstellar, A clockwork Orange or any other type of "awesome" films. It's Deadpool, and it delivers exactly what you expect of Deadpool; childish humor with gore and jokes, including breaking the 4th wall more times than you care to count.

Awesome movie with a DVD, Blue Ray and Digital copy

I can't really compare this to any ther superhero movie, it seems to be in a class all by itself. It is completely irreverent to the basic rules of filming. It uses weird angles and dialog not fit for the munchkins. That said, Is it entertaining? Heck Yeah! Lots of neat little extras that we enjoyed watching. Can't seem to get enough of this movie. After watching it 3 times, I can confidently say that, I noticed some new nuance or innuendo or gag with each viewing that I had previously missed. Some of the jokes come so fast that you are still laughing at one thing, when another slips by you. This is the kind of film that is worth owning for that multiple viewing experience. Deadpool is not for everyone, but for those that appreciate it's approach to the genre, it is nirvana. Can't wait for the SEQUEL!!

Deadpool need I say more, lol This movie is great.

Deadpool is a movie that easily have been screwed up in a lot of ways, in a lot of places throughout the process. Thankfully, it seems like everyone involved in this movie cared about doing right by the character. This movie has great action, a ton of laughs, some excellent performances (particularly by Ryan Reynolds, in the role he was born to play), and best of all, it is true to the comic book source material in every way that matters (but does stray from it in minor ways that don't). The blu ray has a lot of special features, including two different commentary tracks, deleted scenes, and darn near every bit of marketing they made for the film. Sadly, the Best Buy exclusive version does not include any additional bonus content, but the steelbook is pretty awesome, if you like that sort of thing, which I do.

I was really looking forward to seeing this movie. If your only experience with Deadpool is the Wolverine movie from a few years ago--You don't know Deadpool. If you put Ryan Reynolds in the super hero penalty box after Green Lantern--it's time to let him out. If you have superhero movie fatigue--this is the cure. Right from the opening credits, Deadpool the Movie proves it's going to be a different kind of movie. This is one of the funniest movies of the year, but also has a great story to go with it. Ryan Reynolds is perfect as Deadpool. The movie almost realizes its a movie, and makes reference to actors and other super hero movies. Plus--there's a love story. It's kind of twisted and unconventional love story--but still a love story. From beginning to end, this movie does not disappoint.

A big comic book fanatic , so to see a book come to life is a big step ! Further thou Deadpool isn't just a regular movie , usually these movies are bubble gum flicks , like the Batman movies with Gorge Clooney or Val Kilmer , Deadpool brings action with laughs . Keeping more to the comic . Rynolds also plays the best part , like Jackman in Wolverine these are the best actors for these characters . Sad to say Jackman will no longer play his role and is filming his last as wolverine , Rynolds is just starting and hopefully I will continue my library with his flicks ! Deadpool is a great buy and welcomed in my large library !

Movie was great. Crude humor, no doubt it's not for kids. One of my favorite Marvel movies. Steelbook copy comes with a Bluray, DVD, and digital code. Unfortunately, the DVD comes in a cardboard sleeve instead of having a spot in the case. Seems stingy of them to do this. I know they can make dual disc Steelbook cases. The design looks great, but the letters go in the wrong direction compared to every other movie. It could be intentional, being like some cruel Deadpool joke, but I wish they didn't do it.

If language and violence is not an issue for you, you will love this movie. The humor spread throughout with the action makes it an instant hit.

After years of trying to get this character back on the screen the result is great success. Deadpool being brought to the big screen does great justice to its comic book counterpart, this movie proves if you let people who love the source material make a project and don't have the studio take full control magic can happen. Wade Wilson is a character suffering from cancer who makes a deal for a cure and becomes much more, Deadpool is a movie for fans and newcomers alike which was proved in it's theatrical run becoming one the highest grossing R-rated movies ever. The steelbook is beautiful and fits Deadpool perfectly even the upside down spine that drives some steelbook collectors crazy but it's Deadpool what did they think it would be lol. Highly recommended as a purchase.

I know I am conservative - funny action movie for adults. Too many suggestive parts for kids. These remarks are wrapped up in humor.

I usually don't go for any humor that involves bodily functions or violence in any way but Deadpool is the major exception. I don't know how they did it but it is so clever that even the most crass jokes are funny to someone that thinks Family Guy is too vulgar. Anyway, if it isn't obvious by this point this is NOT a film that children should see. It has the R rating for a reason. Don't let your kids see this. Just don't. Seriously. That being said, Ryan Reynolds is perfect for the role. He IS Deadpool. He sales the carefree, smart-mouthed assassin perfectly. Also, for being a movie with "low" budget it looks excellent with really good CGI work. So, in short, if you want to laugh for 2 hours and feel terrible about it, watch Deadpool.

I recently bought a new TV and an new Xbox S so that I could take advantage of the newer 4K technology. Then I purchased a couple of 4K movies, including this one. Amazing picture quality!! Absolutely astounding! I am very much loving the crystal sharpness of everything! If you can afford to do it, upgrade to this new technology! It's fantastic! As far as the movie goes. I'm an old-school comic collector of 30+ years, so I'm loving the new rage of Marvel and DC Movies and TV shows, and this one is no different. Great movie, funny, the character is exactly as it should be. Def worth a watch, just understand that it's an R rated movie parents! You might not want your little ones watching it, even though it is a "comic book movie".
