From it's popularity and the fact that this is the first Rated R Superhero movie shows that people really want this type of format. Yes it's crude, rude and sometimes over the top... but that just makes more fun. If you're a fan of Action Movies and don't mind objectionable language and off color humor then this movie is for you. It's fast paced and the one-liners... priceless. I wouldn't let the kids see this movie, but the adults will have a fun time with it.

I knew very little about Deadpool before seeing this movie other than he made jokes and killed lots of people.This movie is vulgar, crass, childish, and self referential and I loved every minute of it. I can't tell you how much this is not for kids or the morally sensitive but it is non stop jokes and most are terrible but some really hit the mark. It us unapologetically violent as well but overall it is a great break from the usual superhero movie. Give it a watch if you are over 18.

When Deadpool was introduced in the Wolverine Origins film, I was highly disappointed. Not even close to the comic character. Finally, Ryan Reynolds was able to portray the Merc with a Mouth perfectly! This was my favorite movie of 2016, easily beating the other superhero flicks. Parents, just remember this movie is rated R for a reason. Kids should not be watching this! But thank goodness the filmmakers didn't tone it down. Comic fans will rejoice. Bonus features are great as well.

I've been a fan of Deadpool since the 90's. This movie does an excellent job with Ryan Reynolds portraying Deadpool. The steel book packaging is such an amazing design. The movie is great! The menu screen is great! The bonus features are fun! This movie really takes some chances, and it pays off well. I'm sure many super hero movies in the coming years will use this movie as their inspiration to make a tired genre better again. Definitely check this movie out, if you haven't already.

I laughed through the entire movie, I really loved this one

20th Century Fox did right by Deadpool... finally! Skip the wasted opportunity in Wolverine: Origins and watch this entertaining flick. Ryan Reynolds is perfect reprising the role. Be aware this is a hard R - constant f-bombs, some exposed skin, and plenty of over-the-top gore. This is the kind of movie your teenage soon will try to sneak a peek when you're out. Don't let Child Protective Services come a'knockin'. The SteelBook collector's packaging looks great on my shelf, too.

A great movie to add to your 4k collection. Great graphics

This was the role that Ryan Reynolds was born to play. All other incantations of this character in ANY other movie, PALE in comparison. That abomination they made in the Wolverine movie was ridiculously done. (Whoever decided to play it like that should have been hung up by the wobblie's). Ryan Reynolds depiction of Deadpool was dead on to what those of us who have followed the character in the comic books and games have come to expect. The opening credits alone were priceless.

This was a fun R-rate comic book movie with Ryan Renolds playing the Deadpool character. Really enjoyed some of the action scenes and comedic elements of many of the scenes. Ryan Reynolds was clearly born to play this character and fought a long time to get this movie made. It's a great movie and will be rewatching many times over again over the years. Looking forward to the new Deadpool movie. Blu ray picture and sound quality is also excellent.

I actually saw this in theaters and much to my amazement there was an 8 year old boy that sat next to me in the theater. Needless to say, he spent most of it with his mom covering his eyes and ears. So, first off, Deadpool, like the comics, is meant for a mature audience unlike the rest of the Marvel universe. That said, I couldn't stop laughing! Perhaps not the best to sit down and watch with prim and proper Grandma June, but with friends? Absolutely! We had a blast. Enjoy.

Compared to how watered down most of the current superhero movies have been during their recent surge in popularity, Deadpool is easily the most 'true to the comic' superhero movie yet. It's full of all the violence, obscenity, and in-jokes that comic fans could ever want. It even manages to poke fun at the "new class" of X-Men movies, the Green Lantern movie, and the X-Men Origins: Wolverine version of "Deadpool." If you're a fan of the source material, this is a bullseye.

This movie had me busting up,has some really funny scenes

Really good 4k disc of an excellent comic book movie. Deadpool will be entertaining to both comic and non-comic fans as long as they don't mind the violence and vulgarity (which is a big part of the character). Worth a watch for most, and the visuals on the 4k disc are excellent and worth the watch over a bluray or stream if you have a decent TV.

2 things you need to know about Deadpool: 1. It is so amazing that you may find yourself weeping in sheer delight. 2. The same no compromise comedy that makes this movie so great, is what makes it wholly inappropriate for children. So if you're looking for one of the best comedies in a decade, buy this movie. Just make sure that no little gremlins are around unless you want to be explaining "they watched Deadpool" in Student/Teacher meetings for some time to come.

By now you've probably seen the movie and know all about it. Picked this up on Black Friday on sale and happy to add it to the collection. Hopefully they can churn out a few more solo movies and get him integrated into the bigger picture so he can share the screen with some of the other stars. Visuals are extremely clean in 4K and the colors really pop.

So I just purchased an Xbox one s along with a Samsung 4K hrd tv. I had to check out what the whole 4K hype was about for myself. Well long story short, it blew my mind how crystal clear the picture was. How you can see those tiny details in Deadpools costume for example. Ps this movie was shot in 4K not remastered from the usual 2k. So if you are thinking of investing a pretty penny on one of these 4K movies do a little research on what the film was shot in.

Wade Wilson was just a honest mercenary who fell for a hooker and suddenly got cancer. In a desperate move to return to his "future babymama", he signs on to a secret project to cure his cancer, only to be transformed into a butt ugly, red spandex wearing weapon hellbent on finding....Francis He is joined by the only 2 Xmen Marvel could afford, Collosus and MegaSonic Teenager Warhead. Together the battle Francis' army and bring Wade one step closer to being a hero!

Deadpool was definitely different from the traditional superhero films currently out there - a nice package of crude but smart humor, great casting, and lots of action and graphic violence. Kids definitely need not apply for this - this is strictly Rated R, and deservedly so. The features are pretty much standard along all of the versions, but I'm a Steelbook sucker, so I opted for this version. Rest assured, you'll have a great time with Deadpool. Worth picking up.

Why does Spiderman cuss and shoot everyone. Ryan Reynolds is to old for Peter Parker. Mary Jane isn't redhead. Aunt May is a blind black woman. My bad movie sense is tingling. Marvel better get their act together. With DCs movie franchise in Green Lantern and Batman vs Superman killing it at the box office, soon well only have movies like Booster Gold and Jonah Hex (wait did i see that). I know Disney/Marvel could do much better. Stan Lee is probably rolling his grave.

i avoid most dc or marvel movies. i think of them as a big waste of time and could enjoy watching grass grow. i did want to see this one because of ryan reynolds. i was not disappointed. he is a wise cracking scum bag who ends up with power and a face better covered up. his main adversary ajax aka francis, was interesting mostly one diminutional. i think an actor like luke evans would have been better. one thing for sure it is not for young children to watch.
