Recently rewatched this on blu-ray on my new 4K and it was looking a little rough. Figured it would be worth upgrading to 4K, and it was. Definitely more detail and color in the 4K version. Only bad thing is no slipcover. The blu-ray had a nice embossed slip.

I missed seeing Deadpool in the theater (like many a film), but promptly picked it up on DVD release. Althought a lot of comic book movies are rather formulaic, Deadpool at least stands out for it's crass humor and tongue-in-cheek references. If you're fan of the Marvel and X-Men movie universes then there's a very high change this movie will be right up your alley.

I did not know this character at all, so that may have helped, but I felt that this was the most enjoyable of the Marvel universe. Humor, action, "R" rated swearing and more realism in what a comic type movie should be. I think they have ushered in a new era in what these movies should have been all along. Wish it was in 3D, it sure looks like it was filmed for it!

I'm a stickler for movies that adapt their source material faithfully. Deadpool was not one of them. However, while various movie studios fighting for rights may have forced the lack of canon, they character portrayed was spot-on perfect, and in addition to this, completely hilarious. I highly enjoyed the move. WARNING: NOT FOR CHILDREN. NO, NOT EVEN YOURS.

Deadpool wasn’t given the right treatment in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie, so even thought Ryan Reynolds played the same character that film, it wasn’t an accurate depiction of Deadpool. But THIS film gets it right...the “merc with a mouth” is shown exactly as he is in the comics. Not for kids...but adults will laugh their heads off!

This is what I have been waiting for! Great and funny! This is not a super hero movie but a love story. You will know what I'm talking about after watching the movie. Love the fact that it comes with the digital copy so I can watch this on my devices anywhere instead of just on the Blu-ray. A must have for your collection even if you don't like Marvel movies.

This is one of my favorite movies released by Marvel. Too bad it is not in the Marvel Universe because it is off the wall crazy and fun. If you like gore, violence, vulgar language, nudity, off color humor, superheroes, action or anything along those line. It is a must have movie. DO NOT LET YOU LITTLE KID WATCH THIS MOVIE, unless you want them to view the above.

I never really knew who Deadpool was before I saw this film. Once I watched it in theaters I had to get it on Blu ray to have at any time. The character is played brilliantly and he actually fluctuates between speaking directly to the audience and the other characters, I can not remember the term for it right now. It's hilarious, suspenseful and hilarious.

It's freaking Deadpool, what else is there to say! Ok, ok, I'll say something...This is the best movie I have watched on my new Sony 4K tv. Passengers and the shallows looked great, but this movie blows them out of the water. It blew me away how good his red suit looked, I know that's a strange comment to make, but watch it and you'll understand

Without doubt, this is the funniest, most action packed comic based stories I have seen. This takes toilet humor to a new plateau. I've watched it a half dozen times, and picked up new things each time. I picked this up on Blu-ray, right at the release date, and Best Buy had the best price in town. If you are looking for comedy and action, this is your movie.

From a technical standpoint, this is a really good disc. Neither the visuals or the audio are of the utmost quality, but they're the next best thing. There are moments, though, where the impact of both is substantial. On those merits alone, this deserves a recommendation. I feel like people have taken this movie for granted over the past 6 years, maybe forgetting what made it so surprising and enjoyable. They shouldn't.

Ryan Reynolds defied Fox and leaked out test footage for Deadpool out to the internet, it went viral and as a result we are treated to a much more faithful adaptation of the character, especially in comparison to the nightmare that was X-Men Origins Wolverine

Pre-ordering this steel book was not too bad, however I do request there to be an option to put a minimum amount for down payment on preorders instead of paying the whole amount especially when we are picking up in store. Even with the fact that I pre ordered in store I still had to pay the whole amount which isn't the end of the world just something I would hope to be changed. Aside from that the employee that processed the the creation of the preorder and the employee that processed the pickup were kind and outgoing! And if you're wondering how the movie is? It's THE BEST MOVIE FOX HAS MADE and definitely a great superhero (anti hero) movie :)

It's the 2010s, so comic books movies are again good, especially when they are not DC movies. Everything was done right with this movie - let Deadpool be Deadpool,, which means fourth wall breaking, cursing, nudity, gratuitous violence. The perfect movie to take on a first date. Believe me, that's what I did. And she's still with me!

If you haven’t jumped on the Deadpool fan wagon yet you need to. This rude crude hero had an attitude that can’t be missed. The ultra violence and and dirty jokes is a welcomed change of pace for a marvel cha after and Deadpool is the perfect fit. The 4K disc is a beautiful display long as you have all the right equipment. Get this now.

This is the Deadpool movie we were all waiting for! Ryan Reynolds portrays Deadpool so perfectly from the comics. This movie is hilarious too! Definitely not suitable for young children as there is bad language, nudity, and extreme violence. Definitely recommend this if you're a fan of Deadpool or a fan of the Marvel movies. Must have for your movie collection.

This is how most of us would behave if we were indestructible, and it's refreshing that they finally gave us a hero that's relatable. Ryan Reynolds is perfect for this part and redeems himself for the horrid Green Lantern movie of a few years ago. HIGHLY recommended for adults, but maybe have the kids stay at grandma's house the night you go to watch this one.

After ruining Deadpool in Wolverine, Fox redeemed the character with this awesome movie! While the plot and character development of the cast isn't that great, the hilarious lines in the movie more than make up for it. Can't wait for the next installment! I was Deadpool for office Halloween two years ago and no one knew who I was. Now they finally know lol

Of all the Marvel movies, this one was a PERFECT adaptation of the Deadpool we're familiar with from the comics...Witty, comical and a true bad a-double-s when it comes to laying people to waste. Definitely worth owning and watching multiple times as I find myself laughing at lines I missed because I was laughing so hard at the previous lines or scene.

Good movie, very entertaining but definitely not for the kids and people who don't like any bad words ( cussing, some raunchy jokes), nudity (mostly Ryan Reynolds butt, couple other strip club and similar scenes) or gore (not so gross or over the top and dumb like Kickass and Crank 2 where the whole point of the movies seemed to see how gory they could get and what dumb ways they can kill people). Pretty funny overall, nice action, seemed to stay true to the character from what little I know about him. Would recommend this and added it to my collection, I will watch it again eventually and I didn't feel like it was a waste of money or time.
