While I was unfamiliar with Deadpool, I enjoyed this film tremendously. The narrative started out in the present and then used flashbacks to catch the audience up. It was incredibly crass and vulgar, which was hilarious and why I enjoyed the film. There are lots of great special features including the two commentaries! I also appreciate this is a combo pack.

This is an easy review for me as I had been waiting for this movie to arrive on Blu Ray. Bought the Steelbook which I think is a cool collectible but even better was the movie inside. Deadpool is a terrific funny movie that is good in all aspects while probably not for children good for everyone else and sure to get your money's worth with repeated watchings.

I didn't see this in the theatre but was surprised at the level of humor in this movie. I could watch it many times over and never get tired of the action and humor. Ryan Reynolds does a far better job in this film then the green lantern film even though he is rather funny in whatever role he takes on. Definitely watch this film but leave the kids elsewhere.

This is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. While it's a "superhero" movie, it's definitely off the path of typical movies of that nature. I laughed more through this movie than any movie in quite some time. Just know that the language can be a bit salty at times, but hilarious. Ryan Reynolds was perfect for this part, can't wait for the sequel!

First, this isn't your traditional Marvel movie. That's apparent from the opening credits. The humor is crude and vulgar and if you like that, you'll love this movie. Hilarious from start to finish and I bought it the day it came out on DVD. That being said, I'd suggest watching this yourself before deciding to let your children watch the newest Marvel movie!

Portrayal of a comic book character in a movie has been hard to come by. But with Deadpool, it's almost everything you can ask for in a movie. You have romance, hatred, love, violence, weapons, explosions, friends, enemies, heroes, and villains. Not to mention, loads of comedy and some 4th Wall dialogue. If you haven't seen this movie yet, what are you for?

This is just one of the superheroiest of all the super hero films ever made. The fourth wall breaks are perfect. It makes fun of itself and RR makes fun of his past and its all worth it now. Great story for anyone who isn't a comic book/movie fan that seems to stay true to the original character per the creator himself in one of the 2 commentaries. Loved it!

There's not much I can say to add to this film. It should be seen by all as this is how to make a fantastic comic book movie adaptation and they did it with a rather miniscule budget. The acting is perfect, the writing is brilliant, and the film is just pure comic gold. I loved Deadpool before this came out and it only added to my enjoyment of the character.

Irreverent, irresponsible and totally offensive...Deadpool is the perfect Marvel movie on all levels! Marvel unleashes our brazen hero without watering him down to a family-friendly level. Deadpool is nasty, violent and vulgar, just the way he should be. Oh, and he's hysterically funny to boot. You have to check this out. You will be thoroughly entertained.

I've always kinda liked Deadpool, but it wasn't until this movie that I fully embraced his unique persona. Ryan Reynolds kills it in this role, and it's great to see him have some good movies again. Would definitely recommend this! I bought the blu ray version, then the 4k blu ray version when it came out, because I loved it that much.

great movie, glad they gave the deadpool character some justice with this movie. after what they did to him in x-men origins wolverine, we can finally forget about that disaster. this movie is filled with dirty humor, blood, comedy and tons of action. i recommend this movie to every fan of deadpool or fans of marvel that never got into the character before.

Personally, I don't think Deadpool quite lived up to its potential, but was still a rather solid comic adaption. The jokes and language are far cruder than those in most monthly issues of Deadpool (which manage to be humorous without relying solely on innuendo and language that would cause your mother to blush - nor do they have any nudity). One thing most people can agree on is Ryan Reynolds nailed the personality of our favorite mercenary. This movie is certainly NOT for younger viewers. Parents, use your own judgment. If you have small children who love superheroes, know that Deadpool is a crude, overly violent antihero.

Love, love, love this flick, love Dead Pool, love sarcasm and long walks on the beach, short grrrls and tall beers! FINALLY Fox gets one right (in the crotch)! Such a great movie (did I say that already?) If you haven't seen this movie, then you outta get some My Little Pony dolls (or unicorns) and some tissues! That is all, it's a love story. So romantic!

This movie does a great job at nailing the Deadpool character! If you're looking for a good movie in a way Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Scarface, etc. is, this isn't it. This movie was most likely made to be geared towards fans of Deadpool's character. It helps to know the character to best understand the movie, but not with your child(ren) around.

The movie definitely deserves the R rating, but it is a true treatment of the deadpool character. Ryan Reynolds does the character proud and his commentary (breaking the 4th wall) is priceless. Morena Baccarin as Copycat (Vanessa) is stunningly beautiful as ever as well as irreverently funny. Overall, a fun, though not kid friendly comic character movie.

This film revived my faith in superhero films. An unusual witty film with great action, plot and editing. Wait, how about acting? Surprisingly good. It was a joy to see how Ryan Reynolds brings this character to the screen--and you also get to see Morena Baccarin and Gina Carano. Best of all, got a great deal because of BB's price match policy.

This movie is amazing! It's strictly for adults and for a movie with a relatively small budget, it looks fantastic. Deadpool's costume design if the best comic to screen representation I have seen in any film based on a comic character so far. The references and 4th wall breaks are perfect and really catch the tone of what a Deadpool movie should be like.

This is a great movie for anybody looking for a dumb laugh or two. It is a fantastic 4k that had me laughing and crying at the same time. I love the way that the film looks visually and it is something I would for sure recommend to others to own.

This release is a gorgeous Steelbook, loaded with features specific to Best Buy. The exterior case is true to the character, and true to the character is the humor both overt and subversive; such as the incorrect display of the title and the interior artwork. The Bluray transfer is very good, and the audio is perfect, exactly what you look for in Bluray.
