Terrible movie what a waste of money..didn't like it at all

the steelbook was damaged and they won't let me change it

I love this movie. It is absolutely hilarious. I am an adult. Unless you want to talk to your child about odd adult acts, or what Deadpool meant when he said "right down Main Street," I would not buy this video for a small child (Ant-man, Captain America, X-Men and other superhero movies are better in this instance). Teenagers would probably think you were the coolest if you bought this for them. Being they have probably heard worse language on the school bus, seen more gore from their video games (Thank God for gorey video games), and have all claimed to do the deed (even though most of them haven't). In other words, don't just buy this for any kids younger than 13 years old because it's a superhero movie. It ain't your normal superhero movie.

I absolutely had to pre-order this to make sure I got the steelbook. I saw this in the theaters four times and this is coming from someone that doesn't go to many movies. Deadpool has been my favorite comic book character for YEARS and after they did him dirty in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it was sad to think Ryan Reynolds would never get the chance to do him justice and THANK GOD for Ryan Reynolds. This was a passion project for him and you could tell a lot of hear went into the movie. Other superhero movies have way more polish, but this movie was so perfectly Deadpool that you can't help but love it. BUY BUY BUY BUY!!

I laughed the second I opened up the package. Inside is a piece of paper showing examples of how men should examine themselves and grasp their #*#*# #*#*#* in search of lumps that could possibly be cancer. To my surprise this is actually a document endorsed by the American Cancer Society. This is exactly how the character Deadpool is and the humor he tries to pass on to the audience. This is the first Marvel superhero movie that is rated (R). I have been a fan of the DeadPool comics for years. The movie would of been terrible had it been rated (PG13) or at least it would of been toned down and difficult to capture the Deadpool in the comics. The studio was so afraid the film rating would keep people and kids away the budget was nearly half of other Marvel films. Prior to this movie coming to DVD and blu-ray it scored box office gold. It is currently the highest grossing rated (R) film in history. It is going to affect superhero movies from this day forward. It has already been confirmed the movie Wolverine: Old Man Logan will be rated (R). The blu-ray is loaded with special features. I thought the movie was very good myself and will be watching it again very soon. And like most Marvel movies make sure you wait until after the credits roll to see a added teaser scene. My only complaint is I was not able to buy this movie in 3D. Why the did not release a 3D version I will never know ? Maybe they are going to release one around the holiday season. I will keep my comments to myself on that issue. I am also very surprised they did not release a Deadpool: Unrated Version.

Great movie I’m glad that this also comes with a code to get the digital version. I don’t have to get up to get the dvd just go to Vudu lol

Simply put, this is one of my favorite Steelbooks. Period. The design is fantastic, minimalist perhaps, but it works, and the finish of the case is beautiful. Though, the best part of this edition is the interior of the steel. Classic Deadpool, through & through. Video quality of the BR is stellar, as is the audio track, and the special features are plentiful & a blast to watch. Love the logo incorporation in the case, how it folds into the full DP logo when opened. Brilliant. This makes it into my top 3 favorite Steelbooks (alongside "Guardians of the Galaxy" & "The Lion King"). Makes a great addition for the Steelbook collector.

I grew up with Deadpool and I have loved the character for a long time. Fox had a chance with him once and destroyed the character, making perhaps one of the worst comic book movie blunders ever made by any studio. So when I heard they were doing it again, and supposedly doing it right, I was understandably hyped. From the very first frame of the film, they get Deadpool right. The self-depricating and genre trashing humor, the ultra-violence, the 4th wall breaking, the overly offensive and uncaring attitude... all perfectly intact. Thus movie is full of raucous laughter, cringeworthy violence, quick, snark banter and self-referential dialogue. If you have even had the slightest inclination to check this movie out, then I recommend it.

Ryan Reynolds is hilarious in this movie. I loved it.

I don't even know where to begin nor how to categorize this outstanding film!?! It's simply incredibly refreshing. Ryan Reynold has (in his most natural way and ease) crafted a comedy film with the most blood, gore and body-count to date. I most feel that DeadPool is more a comedy than anything else due to my side-splitting laughter throughout 98% of the film. HOWEVER, that remaining 2% is OUTSTANDING. It's a drama/romance comedy/action/dramedy/tragedy/boy-meets-girl-meets-secret-government organization bent on genetic manipulation to craft super-slave-soldiers...film.... ??? Yeah, I know. It's crazy and doesn't fit in any one genre, but in what it doe create it creates MAGIC. If you're one of the seven people in the world that hasn't seen this film yet go do so N-O-W. Stop reading this and see it immediately. Go!

DEADPOOL being made into a movie after 16 years of development purgatory (industry term) is amazing in itself. Out of 4 I give it 3.5 stars. As a fan its awesome seeing Ryan Reynolds KILL his titular role, not a bad plot. The action is great (in fact MTV award winning) I am left wanting more I must say. However it is the most successful X-Men universe movie, having a projected $300 million actually become $760 million as of May 1st. Most likely will outshine the upcoming Apocalypse movie. Great cover art/sleeve. Lots of extras. Very fun Blu-Ray to own. Can't wait for the sequel.

Deadpool is nothing short of entertaining in all aspects of the film. Humor, violence, and a solid story lay the foundation. Peppered in are nods to other films and pop culture all while staying true to the comic and its various ties to other books in the same genre. No one else could have played this character better than Ryan Reynolds. He was born, destined to play Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool. His take on the character is supremely believable, almost palpable. This film isn't for those with a narrow mind or too thin skinned. It contains very serious mature elements so don't go into it expecting a film as light hearted as Iron Man but more on par or darker than Batman: The Dark Knight.

This is a fantastic movie, and was overall a very enjoyable watch. But word to the Wise: If your kid is under 16 or so, and you don't want to have to pay for their Therapy, Don't let them watch this movie. It's rated R for a reason. And the writers and director took full advantage of that rating. It's violent, bloody, and disgustingly tasteless at times, as well as being raunchy, and full of very adult humor. This is not something people should be subjecting their children to until they're older, or at least very emotionally prepared for it. Here's the easy solution: Watch it yourself, then decide if you feel comfortable letting your Kids see it.

This is one movie I'm sorry I missed in the Theater. I didn't have any real experience with Deadpool from the comics, but from what I've been told by others who are aware of his demeanor, I think they hit it on the nose. An anti-hero??? Maybe, but he makes the save when it's the right thing to do... or he gets paid to. Not your normal go to Action Super-hero flick, it is rated R after all, but a good time is had by all. Ryan Reynolds made a better entry into the comic world than as the Green Lantern. His sarcastic humor, and explicit language, was more fitting to this character. Can't wait to see what Deadpool does next.

Deadpool is one of the best superhero movies ever made! Ryan Reynolds is the best at being Deadpool. I don't see anyone else other than Ryan Reynolds being the Merc With A Mouth! I like him as Green Lantern but he's better as Deadpool. This movie is the big slap in the face to X-Men Origins. The only problem I had with this movie is that it could've been at least 20 minutes longer.

First off, this is not your normal Marvel movie that is kid friendly. If you are a fan of the Deadpool comic books, then you will be pleasantly surprised. If you are not familiar with Deadpool, he is very cynical and is the anti-hero. Because of this, he works in an action that is more "dark" then your average Marvel or DC superhero. This movie follows that perfectly and is filled with EXTREME violence, profanity, and adult humor/situations. There is a reason this is the highest grossing R-Rated movie of all time, and it will be hard to beat.
