Deadpool had something for everybody-crazy action, over-the -top comedy and a reluctant superhero we can all believe, even though, at times, he is not playing with a full deck. Ryan Reynolds is perfectly cast and delivers dead-pan lines with aplomb. If you're looking for some dark, but playful fun in the high octane action vein then swim in the(Blu-ray) Deadpool awhile-the water's just fine!

As an older comic fan I was unfamiliar with Deadpool, but critics and fans both recommended this action packed movie with an adult sense of humor. I was very pleased with the movie and all the extras. Highly recommended, but not for the kiddies! This is a "hard R-Rating" with harsh language and adult situations. If you have a bawdy sense of humor and like action this movie is for you!

What can I say this is Deadpool. It is a nice change of pace in the comic book movies. As for the Steelbook, the upside down spine is not a deal breaker and gives it some character. The gloss finish is nice but Best Buy could have done more like other retailers in other countries. Even though it doesn't have all the nice Steelbook features other places got it is still nice to have.

I bought this movie thinking that I had the complete setup already for 4K movies...unfortunately my bluray is only 4K upscaling and therefore doesn't play the 4K bluray. The regular bluray is still stunning, but I guess I'll have to wait till the ps4k comes out to watch this one in true 4K. The cheapest 4K bluray available are still $300, so may as well wait. Hope this helps.

For those familiar with the character, this will be regarded as one of the better comic to movie adaptations in existence. It's mature, violent and not for children. Completely in line with the comic. Funny, suspenseful and with great action, you wont have to look hard to find something you enjoy here. This is a must see for marvel and comic movie fans of all stripes.

It took Ryan Reynolds 10 years to get this movie off the ground, and the only bad thing to say is that it is a shame it was not released sooner. Absolutely great depiction of Deadpool's character, and the studio actually did something right by giving it the R rating. You will not be disappointed other than you will have to wait for the 2nd movie to be released in 2019.

This is not a kids movie... This is not a typical superhero movie... This is not a typical comic book character.... This movie, complete with it's tongue in cheek approach to violence and vulgarity resonates perfectly with the character.... This movie is one to re-watch multiple times as you will notice little details and Easter eggs each time you view it

THEY REALLY NAILED DEADPOOL. THis movie is SOOO Awesome! IT IS NOT FOR KIDS. this superhero is a counter to the standard heros in that he curses, kills, is very crude and breaks the fourth wall often. This version has the Bluray, DVD and digital download. Come with other online extras and extras in missing scenes and making off which were also excellent.

If you haven’t see Deadpool then I implore you to see it. I had that same feeling I had with movies like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, The Avengers, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens where immediately wanted to see it again. There hasn’t been another comic book movie like this. I hope this paves a new future for R rated comic book movies.

Not for the kids! Keep it for yourself because this movie is great. The humor stays true to the character: sarcasm, perversion, and over the top one liners. Ryan Reynolds plays this part so well it is hard to think of anyone else who could even try to pull this off. I recommend to anyone who knows this isn't your kid's Saturday morning cartoon hero.

Assuming you know what you're getting into when purchasing this movie, this movie is everything that it claims to be and is amazing at it. If you're watching this movie for plot, just stop, please. The villain is lackluster. The plot is unoriginal. We're here for the immature jokes people. The CG is also top-notch. Lots of fun extras included too.

This movie is unlike any Marvel movie I have ever seen. It is "raw" in many aspects of the work and should only be viewed by adults. Its entertainment value in unparalleled by any other movie I have viewed this year. R. Reynolds redeemed himself from Green Lantern. I guess Marvel has a better camp of writers and directors to make movies more appealing.

Truer to the Marvel comics Deadpool. Brilliant one liners, well choreographed violent fight sequences, breaking the 4th wall. There was more than expected profane humor, and partial nudity. - For which I almost gave it 4 stars for being a little "over the top" in that regard.

I absolutely loved this film. The film provides the origin story and quest for revenge of the seeming antihero Deadpool. At a time when screenwriting seems to becoming more and more of a lost art, this one was fantastic and wonderfully executed by the cast (especially Ryan Reynolds) and the director. I can't wait for the sequel.

it looks great, as far as I can see, it has no exclusive content, and I'm not a huge fan of the texture (feels more like hard plastic) I like the marvel studios steel books better, they have a more metallic feel, and often engraving or embossing. Also why not make it a 2 disc box? the dvd is included, but just placed in a paper sleave.

If you are lucky to have a 4k media player, pop this movie in and let the movie play. all the action senses look even better in 4K. this package includes a digital copy and no DVD disk. Marvel fans will enjoy the movie. and leave you bleeding for the sequel..

The concept of the Deadpool Steelbook is something that I was rather looking forward to. A steelbook with the iconic "Merc with a Mouth" seems like an excellent pairing for an otherwise finely executed film, however, this release has a few major flaws which impede it from receiving my recommendation. 1). Possibly the most aggravating aspect of this release is that of the title spine. It is upside-down. I don't know what kind of oversight was made- possibly an attempt to distinguish it from the european release- but the actual "Deadpool" logo on the spine is facing the wrong way and- amongst other steenboks or standard BluRays on a shelf, will stand out and bother obsessive collectors such as myself. B). The embossing on this Steelbook.... it is absent. The European Release of which has been teased by retailers such as ZAVVI and Amazon.it showcase a beautiful embossing on the Deadpool Steelbook that give it a tasteful sheen and "punch" to the labeling on the cover. Whether or not the domestic, BestBuy release was meant to be a subdued form of such embossing or not- it just doesn't work. III). The DVD that comes with this release doesn't have a place in the Steelbook. That's not to say that I hate DVD's- I mean it LITERALLY doesn't have a place. There is only a disc holder for the BluRay, and the DVD comes loose in a paper envelope with this steel. This is possibly the most confounding thing about this release is that the DVD comes in a paper sleeve. Was it that much harder to simply use a plastic disc holder that contains 2 Available Slots? It doesn't seem that difficult seeing that every single film that is released with both a BluRay and 3D BluRay has such insert trays. Overall- the release is... fine- I guess. It's seriously flawed in minor ways that just make this steelbook seem unbecoming to such a fan-favorite character such as Deadpool.

I had the chance to see Deadpool in the movie theater. We were laughing so hard most of the time that we missed half of the movie. As soon as it became available I ordered the movie through Best Buy. They got it here in a timely fashion and in excellent condition. I invited everyone over and we had another laugh fest!!!

The best anti-hero superhero movie of all time, thus far. Any adult Deadpool fan would greatly appreciate this straight comic book to movie adaptation. Crude humor, action packed, and a bit of romance for just about any Rated-R movie fanatic. The special features also include much more extra content to enjoy. So, enjoy!

After the laughable "Deadpool" in X-Men Origins: Wolverine it was doubtful we would ever see a proper version of the character. Luckily we got it after lots of patience and a concept trailer leak. This is absolutely Deadpool. Fantastic comedy, great action and a well written story make this a must have for comic fans.
