One of the best moves I've seen in a long time. The scenes were totally realistic according to my husband who once worked off shore I also enjoyed the Louisiana scenery and I remembered some of the news reports The movie was well shot and it is a tribute to the men who lost their lives

A great film in dedication to a real life tragedy. Describing and the use of visual effects let you know what happened. The Dolby Atmos track is outstanding and worth the price of the disc alone. The 4K video is exceptional!

Mark Wahlberg is great in this film; it appears that all others tend to bleed off his leadership. The picture is full of action and thrillers to keep the audience glued to the screen. It is also a film that you could watch several times to catch action you hadn 't noticed previously.

Incredible action and depiction of this disaster. Also an incredible tribute to the victims. Never heard about this until I saw it in store and decided to pick it up. Very underrated!

Always have enjoyed Mark Wahlberg Movies and this one is no different. Good Movie, Good Story Line and lots of action a effects. Watching it on $K makes it even better so if you don't have a 4K Blu-Ray Player yet to go with your 4K TV, BUY ONE because they are well worth the price.

I wasn't sure how they could turn a disaster into a great movie but they did. It's a nice tribute to those that died and those that survived. It has plenty of action and emotional appeal. Well done.

Mark Wahlberg is one if my favorite actors and I thought he was very good in his role as Mike Williams. This movie was very well made and very entertaining. I really like watching movies that are based on true stories as Deepwater Horizon was and I felt that is was well done.

Even though you know the oil rig explodes you are hooked into this film from the beginning. The characters are well acted and Mark really brings his charisma to this. Lots of vile corporate greed that leads to tragedy. Action from start to finish. FX are especially well done.

This movie turned out to be way more than I expected. Wahlberg isn't my favorite and can be hit or miss, but this one was definitely a hit. Super real, over the top action kept my wife and I on the edge of our couch the whole time. Great storytelling of a terrible tragedy.

I love disaster movies! And this one is a fine addition to the collection! Great story, well told and amazing special effects! This is a keeper for sure! And mark Wahlberg is excellent - he just keeps getting better with each project! And the bonus material is great too!

Great movie. I love movies that are based off true events, and this definitely was not a let down. Great action and effects, but truly lets you know what's involved out there, how dangerous it is, and what steps they HAVE to follow to ensure they're safety, and our wildlife.

Great movie. Needed to own this one. Fast paced, you miss many details when you watch it only once. Leave it to Best Buy and their movie selection with prices and free delivery. Hmmm? Must be why the name is Best Buy !

It can be challenging to give flare to stories based on actual events. This movies suffers a little from that challenge but still holds its own. I saw it in theaters and have not actually had time yet to peruse the Blu-Ray, so I hope am wrong, but it is disappointing that the Blu-Ray does not seem to indicate on its case that it contains deleted scenes, especially given that I might have been in one of them.

I was not sure if this movie which was based on a true story would keep me interested from start to finish, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great movie to get a glimpse of life on an oil rig being pushed by corporate to produce no matter the risks. Highly recommended.

My favorite part of black Driday is the good sales they have on DVD movies and also newer mo use they came out quick on DVD. I purchased 7 DVD movies from $7-$9 dollars.

This is one exciting movie. You can really feel the power and explosive force of oil under tremendous pressure throughout the entire movie. The explosions are fantastic, this is one exciting movie.

Based on a true story, the movie was very well done with excellent acting by Mark Wahlberg and the rest of the cast. It kept my interest throughout the entire movie and the characters were portrayed in a way that enabled you to relate to what they were experiencing.

This movie tells of the people and incident that happened. It opened my eyes to what happened and what could have been prevented. I added this to my library so it reminds me of what happened on the Deepwater Horizon.

This is one of the really good stories relating to how people overcome the worst conditions to take care of others. Screen color, action, and acting were first rate. One of my favorite movies of the year! How these men and women survived is nothing short of a miracle!

What a great movie loved every one of the actors in this movie Kurt Russell gives quite the performance as well as John malcovhich, Mark wahlberg, etc..... this movie is a true story and it delivers on a lot of levels. This movie is well worth watching and buying!
