Excellent movie. First owned it on Blu-ray and couldn't wait until it came out on 4K. I knew the special effects would be so much better on 4k

Nice to see the truth and details behind this horrific accident. Gives a good idea on how these rigs are managed and maintained. Another great movie for Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russel, Kate Hudson, and John Malkovich. Thrilling and suspenseful.

This movie is spot on with their details of what happen to the Deep Water Horizon. Being in the industry and associated with someone who was an expert witness for this disaster, I can say that its a great movie with very little Hollywood hype.

Learned a bit more about the process and lives of people on those rigs which was interesting. Also some of the facts (based on) of what happened there. Money drives our society but it is just human nature to try to shortcut things at times.

This has got to be the best non rated R movie I have seen in quite a long time. Very well done with not vulgar language and or blood and guts. Lots of action, excitement and adrenaline and suspense with a story being based in a true inscedent

So this has great scenes but when it came to the writing I was thrown off a little bit

this is one of the best movies i have being in 2017, the topic is of much interest and knowing that this was a real life event makes it more interesting, well acted and at the end it will make you cry to learn the tragedy that happened.

Didn't know exactly what to expect but this movie has it all. Action, well told drama that closely follows real events. Gives you an insight as to what the oil rig work was all about and pays tribute to those who died as well as the heros.

We recently purchased both a 4K tv and bluray player. This was our first movie we purchased. The movie was awesome! The 4K experience really heightens the quality of the movie and literally brings the story to life!! Our family loved it!

Kurt Russell at his best. Mark Wahlberg and John Malkevich definitely deliver. The story of this important event needed to be told and it is told well in this film. Deepwater Horizon honors well those who survived and those whose lives were lost. It grabs the viewer from the beginning and doesn't let go until the closing credits.

This was a great movie. Watched it with the wife and teenage son. We were all on the edge of our seat the entire time as the tension builds. Hollywood special effects are also top notch. You would believe that this is really happening around you. Especially if you have good surround. I highly recommend this movie. Also, 4K image quality is superb!

This is an amazing film! Great acting and the sound effects rattle you to the core on a good sound system. Seeing Kurt Russell and John Malkovich together is so cool. What a great ensemble of actors. A++! This is going to be a classic.

After seeing this awesome movie, I now understand the screw ups from BP. I also am confused as to why the rigs higher ups weren't called when the rig started collapsing. At any rate this is a fantastic movie and would watch again.

The rest of the story. This movie depicks what happened and quickly when the crew didn't follow the procedures that have been put in place to prevent this from happening. Intense graphics and unbelievable damage in such a short time.

Great movie! I love movies about actual events and this one certainly doesn't disappoint! Great acting, great directing and great pacing from beginning to end!

Mark Walberg great actor, love his movies. Seen all of his movies, if its fact based, action, thriller, scifi. You gotta watch them all. But deep water horizon is one i would recommend. So get the movie and kick back and enjoy. Scooby

Even though this movie is based on a real-life event that resulted in fatalities, I really enjoyed the movie. It depicts the risks that people working on an oil rig take every day. Great film, would definitely recommend to others.

Great movie recounting harrowing events on the Deepwater Horizon. Mark Wahlberg continues to show he can be a versatile actor. I believe others may have already said this- but it would have been interesting to see more of the litigation/prosecution of the corporate execs to understand how they got off of certain charges. Still very much worth seeing.

Wasn't sure if the movie would be entertaining enough, however I have a soft spot for "based on true events". The actors did a great job telling the story and bringing this disaster to screen. As for the 4K, great picture and sound.

I'm not surprised about that Mark Wahlberg when He does a movie/television series shows He always an A-Lister in each and every single characters/roles He's awesome great super fantastic very cool so He's a terrific Actor/Guy!
