Having come from a family that knew oil fields and the business I found this to be a well done, excellent movie. Edge of the seat stuff, mostly technically correct, and conveys an exceptional sense of being there.

For those who don't know this too is based on true story and I remember this event and it was interesting to see this side of the story. Which of course the media failed to show. And dolby atmos is a must here!

This movie was truly well done. It portrayed the tragedy very tastefully and it really put you in what happened. Although you know the outcome it was done so well that you couldn't stop watching. Great actors!

This is a movies about a Deep Water Oil Rig "Deepwater Horizon". This movies is a Author's and Directors vision of what truly happened in 2010 when the "Deepwater Horizon" disaster took place when the oil rigs safety systems failed and the rig exploded resulting in a number of death's, and the largest oil spill in US waters.

Based on a true story, Deepwater Horizon tells you the human side of the story you never got to see on the news. The 4K release is simply amazing. That’s as spoilery as I’m going to get. You’ll enjoy it.

Watched this for the first time. This was a really good movie. This story was one I remember and they did a pretty good job of telling it.

Never saw this movie before bought just to show off my atmos theater and I’m glad I did the movie is crazy and the sound out of this world.

Peter Berg did a great job on this one. Mark Wahlberg is just an amazing dramatic movie actor. Director/actors aside, this movie is an eye opener to that kind of life and what those people experienced that day.

THIS IS CLO0SE TO THE TRUTH AS WE ARE GOING TO GET BUT LETS THE COMPANES DON'T CARE ABOUT NOTHING BUT MONEY EVEN TELLS AT THE END THE ONES RESONABLE WERE NEVER BROUGHT TO TRIAL. BUT IN ALL THIS WAS A GOOD MOVIE.

Marky Mark is the greatest of the current crop of action stars. This film is also a wonderful retell of the BP gulf disaster and is a tour de force of cinematics and audio goodness. You won't be disappointed.

Saw this movie in theaters and loved it way more than I thought I would. The actors looked very close to the real survivors and was very well done. As soon as this movie went on sale I bought it right away.

I’d seen this story in the news, but was very surprised at how good this movie is. Super realistic and interesting all of the way through. I’d recommend this to anyone who loves a good, true story.

Mark Wahlberg again demostrates his penchant for bringing real life stories to the big screen in a way that makes you wish you knew personally the people involved. Action packed and emotional. Great Movie!!!

This is an EXCELLENT film that depicted the real-life challenge of working on an oil rig. It's a GREAT tribute to those who perished in the disaster.

Wonderful action adventure. You will be holding on by the seat of your pants the entire time.

The story line is obvious ( docu-drama) so not much to say there other than the cast was pretty good. The video was quite good and the HDR was well done. The audio was fantastic with a very good Atmos mix.

This movie is amazing. Peter Burg did a created job directing and Mark Wahlberg did a good acting job. This is one of those movie you can watch over and over again.

This was an unbelievable movie. I remember when this happened. By watching this film, I've developed such an appreciation for these people. They did a great job in making you feel the magnitude of this disaster, and the sound engineering was perfect.

Deep water Horizon is a fantastic film. It does a good job of setting up characters and the entire movie is suspenseful as you await what you already know is to come. I highly recommend this Peter Berg film.

It's rare that I buy a movie or even watch more than once. Saw the movie at the theatre, rented the blu-ray, then the blu-ray was on sale and bought it because it is so good I wanted it in my collection.
