I preordered this movie online because frankly I was bombarded with ads for this movie streaming another tv show online. It looked good. The movie does not disappoint. I won't give away any of the plot though, I'm not a movie critic. The movie arrived in great condition on the release date. It was fairly priced as well.

A friend worked on an oil rig and we bought the movie for him. He really enjoyed seeing all aspects of things he experienced while he worked on the rig. It was a tragic event in history, but a good movie.

Great movie but movie did Not come with digital code! Ridiculous!

I saw this movie in the theatre and wasn't very impressed. Why I purchased it I'm not sure. The movie is very exciting and Mark Wahlberg is definitely getting better as an actor and not using as many cliche lines as his movies usually have. Overall this is the type of movie that can keep you on the edge of your seat.

Wanted to see this movie in theaters, and heard great things about it. After buying it on bluray I finally had a chance to watch it yesterday after buying it last month. Great movie from beginning to end!

Mark seems to be on roll lately, making one entertaining movie after another. This one manages to maintain suspense even though it's a true story and everyone knows what happens ultimately.

Strong film with both action and drama. Tells the story of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and the Macondo blowout that began on April 20, 2010, in the Gulf of Mexico on the BP-operated Macondo Prospect.

This movie turned out really good in my opinion. It has really good special effects and a good cast behind it! I would recommend it for sure, if you're into action movies that are based on a true story!

This was a good Action Packed movie. I have always been a fan of Mark Wahlberg so that helps. The plot line was good and it was very entertaining. It is s worth the money and a good movie to add to your collection.

With the oil spill still fresh on my mind I was skeptical as to whether this movie would be biased. Thankfully it is not, this film depicts the crew and their will to survive and the extremes they went through after the rig exploded. Just enough tense scenes to keep you engaged with a bit of a heartbreaking ending.

This is a very well done representation of one of the the most horrifying event of the 21st Century. Al the the actors were amazing in their parts and the realism was unbelievable. Well worth watching.

I remember hearing about this when it happened but was to young to realize what actually went on. It was brought to my attention again while watching the HBO series Newsroom. The is a well shot film that provides a look into what it was like in those hours before, during and after the oil rig disaster.

I had never seen this movie before I bought it, I remembered the disaster. Great movie!

Excellent movie. After having followed the the event of the leak in the gulf on the news for quite a while this filled in some of the events leading up the disaster. Very and very much worth watching.

I loved the Dolby Atmos mix on this and the visuals and explosives were quite excessive but ultimately work! However, I wanted more resolution at the end. Overall a great movie that keeps you hooked!

This purchase was very beneficial for me because I now have a great movie in HD quality with bonus content and multiple choices I can use to view this movie including streaming.

Good movie! I don't go to the theaters...too expensive. Buy the movie the first week it's out and you can get it cheaper and watch it whenever or as often as you want. You'll want to with this movie!

Great action and acting! I enjoyed every part of the movie. I like Mark Wahlberg and Kurt Russell and enjoyed them both in this film. I'm looking forward to the next films done by him and Peter Berg.

My family and i all enjoyed this movie. Great acting and cast. It was action packed and the filming was awesome. We highly recommend this movie. It was good for family night or as date night. The acting was great just as we expected it would be. We actually bought this movie even though we had already seen it.
