white knuckle edge of your seat thriller showing how human flaws can lead to great tragedy

I bought this out of curiosity over the oil rig disaster. While there was some alignment with reality, most of the movie was filled with boy-meets-girl, boy-saves-girl predictability. Unclear whether that aspect of the movie had any basis in reality at all. Granted it wasn't supposed to be a documentary, but a little disappointing that this was more or less using a real life tragedy as the thread to sew together another Hollywood romance-action movie. Watch it for that, not to learn about the actual event.

I really enjoyed this movie. Very realistic. Excellent performances. Holds the viewers attention.
