Huge upgrade for me. Came from pro monitor 1000 for fronts to the bp9020. It’s a huge upgrade. I also have the CS9040 center and relocated the pro monitor 1000 to the rear have have Yamaha RX-a2a powering everything in a dedicated home theatre room.

These towers are paired with 9040 center channel and six 9040bp surrounds and height speakers, powered by a Denon 6400 11.1 channel receiver. I had originally planned on using my Velodyne 15" powered subwoofer with my system, but these towers produced such even and powerful bass that I use them instead. The sound quality is excellent, and gives you a great movie theater experience! Highly recommend!

These speakers are jaw dropping with the sound and bass they can put out. The ATMOS speakers do an amazing job. I wasn't sure if the ATMOS section would really be good but I was way wrong. One more thing, these things can play really loud ! Loud as in blow you out of the room.

Darn Good speakers. I compared the other 2 mmodels of these and the sound is just as good as the other higher priced units. The electronics specs were that also.

Great theater sound for a small speaker tower.....

Thisis absolutely great. Of course you can always get better ones if you have the budget(!) but for me these are great. The sound is so clear. I'm loving them.

This was a terrific upgrade to my Denon AVR. A a single subwoofer was not working for me. My 7.1 is now complete with a 9.2. I now have complete Dolby atmos.

Amazing sounding speakers for movies love the woofer built in these and in the center channel. So you really don't need a front sub, just put one in the rear and your good. For just listening to music, I miss my Cerwin Vegas but they were incredible . I definitely recommend for movies.

these towers are huge, intimidating, powerful and seductive all in one package! My wife actually pick these ones out and I'm really glad she did because my home theater has never sounded so crisp and so clear I was such a loud, powerful presence of highs, mids and bass and the Atmos toppers work amazingly well! I'm extremely happy with these towers!

I bought the speakers to fill in the space in my niche with my TV. They look great and sound great as well. I am having a little problem with the little light that turns on when the speakers are on. First, it would never turn off, now it never turns on. I need to call for warranty.

The sound quality on these speakers is amazing, crisp and clear. They are also visually appealing - very sleek. They were pricy, but worth every penny. These speakers took movie viewing and listening to music to a new level.

We tried wireless surround but it lacked intensity during a movie so we took it all back and went with a wired system. These vertical speakers have a heavy metal stand to hold them upright. They have an additional sub built in with volume control. These speakers rock. If you like watching movies (chick flicks or action) Definitive makes the perfect speakers for home theater. We have a 5.1 system and I could not be happier and the customer service is great. We listen to our music and movies so loud that I blew one of my book case speakers and Definitive replaced the speaker in no time at all. Get the extended warranty. It's worth it. Thanks Best Buy and Definitive.

I just upgraded my def tech studio monitor 65's with the BP9080x for my fronts and what a difference. The sound is amazing and room filling. The built in subs are seamless in both music and home theater. My system has been a work in progress for a few years and it keeps getting better and better. These just set it off!

These speakers sound amazing, the 10” in each tower really gives a punch with bass. The only thing I’ve been hearing and reading up on is the loud pops when the speaker is about to play audio. I turn the receiver on and about 10 seconds later I hear a loud pop coming from the right tower. Reading up on everything and it seems to be the amp. Kind of concerned because I just bought last week and now problems. Also one of the LEDs isn’t working for the second tower. I love these speakers but not sure if the pops...

Absolutely love this. Have had two of these in our basement theater, and they are great. A little expensive, but I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Especially nice they have built in sub woofers and I didnt have to try to find a spot to hide a stand alone one. They sound great and very clear.

Great upgrade from my previous tower speakers. The powered subwoofers are incredible. The fullness of the sound still startles me after having them for a month. Can't believe the depth of sound I've been missing all these years.

Loudest is like pushing the gas pedal on a new Porsche. All thrill, no pain. Rich and clear sound from vintage recordings or hip-hop.

I've had the same Definitive speakers for 10 years. So, when I lost one to a power surge, I decided to upgrade. These new Def Techs are amazing! The sound is beyond compare sound, and we can convert the whole system to Dolby Atmos by attaching spears to the top of the towers. Amazing!
