Amazing tower speakers! with the built in subwoofer I don't have to buy a free standing one. Very happy with my purchase, so much so I went out and purchased the center channel powered speaker.

I bought 2 of these as an upgrade from my old polk t series speakers and the psw108 and the difference is amazing, the towers are crystal clear on the highs and mids, and the powered 10s are a massive upgrade from my old polk sub, im only running the bass control at 1/2 and i can feel my couch shake from 10ft away. Only 4 star due to having to replace 1 already could have been damaged in shipping but either the Amp or sub started to rattle.

I did not want to spend a lot on a whole Home Entertainment System for my living room. These speakers were perfect. They have great sound and the fact that each one has their own sub-woofer made this purchase the easiest decision I have made in a long time. No regrets!

Great room filling sound without subwoofer. The rear facing speakers added another dimension to the to movies and music. Easy to assemble and connect to the Receiver. The speaker with black cloth fabric blended in with decor.

Wonderful audio reproduction for movies or music ! Perfect home theater speakers with powered subwoofers and expandable with A90 2 way height modules for the full ATMOS sound experience !! I am totally pleased with my purchase !

This is a definite case of you get what you pay for. I listen to music ten times more than tv. This was a no brainer.

It has been a year since I purchased these speakers for my home theater. My first priority was to have an immersive sound that rivals going to the movies. The Marantz SR 7012 receiver powers these, plus the DT 8" 3-way center channel speaker, the two DT cube speakers on top for height speakers and two in-ceiling DT 6.5" speakers for rear surrounds. So far the sound from the main towers and the cubes have been sufficient where I don't need the two front surrounds in the ceiling but I plan to add them to round it out. I'm not sure how much of a difference it'll be but i'll add an update once I do. After hearing them in the store I was a bit nervous slapping down all those Benjamins for these speakers. I was considering the Klipsch speaker set before. But after hearing these in the demo I was blown away. After breaking them in for a few months, they are absolutely amazing and I think they are still breaking in. Movies sound spectacular and balanced when turned up as well as at low volumes. I even have the bass input on the speakers turned down slightly less than half and it still rattles the house. Music tracks are also amazing. I love sitting in front of these speakers in stereo mode and listening to jazz while closing my eyes because it feels like i'm in front of a live band... It's that real. My wife also loves them because they're inconspicuous. There aren't two subwoofer boxes taking up room in the living room but you get the earth shaking sound from them. I could just imagine how much more I can get from them if I added a dedicated amp. If you are on the fence, go for these DT's... you will not be disappointed. Like I said, its been a year, I've gotten over the initial sticker shock after the first month and even a year later I still get a smile every time I power these on.

Right out of the box, these speakers are worth the money. The sound quality is awesome from the very quiet volume to the bold loud volumes. The built in Subs are so powerful I had to turn them down to 20%, otherwise everything in the place vibrated. These speakers are well built and worth every cent.

One listen was all I needed. Many years of many different brands have passed and I fell these DefTech are great at this price point. Note they have internal powered subwoofers so you'l need AC nearby. Also get them away from walls to let them breathe.

I did a direct test with them against my KEF R500's and they were definitely the better speaker. Amazing seperation and soundstage. Very detailed, crisp sound and awesome bass, really pressurizes the room. Highly recommend these.

Love the built in powered subwoofer. We paired these speakers with a Marantz receiver, the sound is phenomenal. We are slowly building our surround sound system and only have a pair of these DT’s thus far. You would be amazed at the sound projection these speakers offer.

Great speakers. The integrated amplified subs are awesome. If you like an immersive surround sound experience, I would stronly suggest adding these speakers.

Bought it at half price sale. Great sound for the price. Slim and look great. Hookup was very easy. Had the older model before. Still working after 12yrs.

We made the financially fatal mistake of going into the "demo-room" where we watched/listened to "Life of Pi" through a Def Tech system powered by a Yamaha RX A880...(we fully intended to only purchase a Klipsch speaker system that was on sale). Simply put... there was no turning back. OMG... the sensation of the presence of the tiger was nothing short of terrifying... chuckle. Needless to say, a few thousand dollars later we were on our way home with an amazing Yamaha RX A880, a pair of BP9020 towers, a pair of A90 height speakers, a pair of SR-9040 surrounds, and a CS-9060 center with integrated sub. I've had this system now for about a year and a half and it sounds as good today as it did when I brought it home. No issues whatsoever. Phenomenal.

We heard these in person at a Best Buy Magnolia and they were the best ones in our price range. We have a smaller house and no ability to add furniture for shelf speakers. They have enough sub-woofer that we don't need to buy one.

i match these with a Marantz SR7009 9.2 AVR in my home theater and a 4k ceiling mount projector in the living room now this is my new favorite sound room with the Definitive Tech BP-9060 tower speakers

These speakers are amazing, sounds better than being in a theater with the quality it produces.

Definitive Technology - High-Performance 10" 3-way paired with the height top speakers are a diamond in the ruff. Not only are these paired speakers clear and loud the clarity is amazing. Yes it is expensive but worth ever penny, wish I would have got them sooner.
