Great speakers I purchased a pair for my apartment. Awesome sounds.

Ive been a big Bose brand for sometime. I enjoy good sound and it’s been an obsession I’ve had for a while, I love the crisp detail in Bose audio and never trusted another brand to give me a similar experience. Walking into bestbuy last week looking for home theatre audio I met a sales rep from Magnolia. He showed me a few speakers way out of the budget I was looking to spent, I had no intention of getting any receivers either but let me tel you that the DT towers by far out my Bose surrround system to shame. The clarity is 10 times better it’s a world of difference, and the 8” subs are really powerful for such size. I get an equal surround feel from these 2 single towers than a 4 speaker surround by Bose. And the power is greater, they are louder than I can handle even at 50%. Very impressed I think I found my new sound!

I was leaning towards Klipsch due to the cost, and the room my theatre room will be in is not that large, however, after hearing these, I decided to leap. Wow, they will not disappoint. I don't have it all entirely set up, I am doing a full theatre room, but adding on the Dolby Atmos speakers to the top, as well as how clean and powerful these speakers are, you will be amazed. I paid the extra money to make the jump, and I am happy I did. I am sure I will have these for many years to come, and I am happy with my purchase. On a side note, one of my tower speakers is making a buzzing noise on the subwoofer, and I am exchanging them today.

Great sound quality and bass with the integrated subwoofer, but even better when you pair it to the Definitive Technology ProSub 1000 Subwoofer. Great for music or movies.

I was looking for a pair of bookshelf speakers at my local best buy store. The salesperson had me listen to the b&w at first which I must say sound amazing. As I was leaving the room, I noticed these towers and ask to listen to them and I was sold. I purchased the pair and went back to pick up the SM55 for surround back and using an older CLR 2002 for my center.You can not go wrong with Definitive Speakers.

This is all you need to know: These are the best towers around. Now, if you want to know more, here is my one year review: The system is still powering through the best action movies and concerts, without a hitch. Before I purchased, I researched for quite a while and the DefTech's were always in the mix. Forget the relatively lower price, forget the meaty, heavy aluminum base and compare sound. Many folks overlook the DefTech's to purchase other name brands, but you are surely missing out on something special. Paired with a Marantz tuner, I completed my system with a center speaker, the two toppers, and a pair of rear bookshelf speakers to achieve great, near perfect audio quality for audiophiles or movie watchers. Also, don't opt for a cheap system that you will replace in a year or two. These Home Theater speakers are just an amazing purchase.

Audio quality is excellent but internal amp is cheap and has failed multiple times. I own a pair of BP9040, BP9060 and BP908x and the amp has failed multiple times on the 9060s and the 9040s.
