Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the BP-9020's exceptional sound quality, encompassing impressive bass and clear highs. Many appreciate the ease of use and powerful performance, although some find the speakers large and heavy. Positive feedback also highlights the Dolby Atmos feature and sleek design. While the price point is noted by some, many feel it's justified by the overall quality.

I don't know why you would want to buy the bigger versions of these speakers because this set is dynamite! I can hear every single instrument in classical music. I don't need a subwoofer because these produce PLENTY of bass. Crystal clear, powerful sound. If you listen to the right song, these speakers will bring tears to your eyes.

Sounds really good and it’s really feel like you are watching in movie theater. If you’re putting sounds little up, you’re neighbors are yelling at you. I mean it’s really thunder and sacking the whole rooms.

I have been looking at these for a long time. I retired and that was all I needed. Set these up with Marantz SR7012 and was in for the best in sound.

Hands-Down, this has to be one of the most versatile and incredible sounding speakers on the market today. Integrated Amos and Sub will provide you with a very clean setup. The sound is rich and full and the subwoofer has a separate gain that will fill any room with deep, hard-hitting bass satisfying even the pickiest audiophiles.

Compared to the 9020 and 9040, the increased driver sizes along with the 10" Sub make the additional expense worth considering for the 9060's. Mine came with the CS9060 center channel, free with the BP pair. Being mostly an audiophile, it took some getting used-to, as the bipolar configuration can be disarming when you are so used to directed sound from a speaker system. For TV and cinema, I can honestly say I don't believe there is a better speaker system out there. I added a Martin Logan Dynamo 1100x for just a small bit of extra bass, lol, along with a pair of B+W 684 S2's for my rear speakers. This way, when I'm listening to TIDAL MQA Master recordings, via an iFi iDSD2 into a Marantz 6013, at "multichannel stereo", I'm getting the best possible sonics for music listening and jamming. If I were to be running music tracks only, my choice might be for B+W's, Front and Rear, but I'm not so sure, as the imaging I'm getting from this multichannel configuration (combining bipolars with the B+W's) is astonishing. I forgot to mention...I added the A90 Atmos modules to the 9060's. They work well but perhaps not as distinct due to the fact that these are mounted on top of a bipolar speaker, so you can't expect a high level of separate imaging from the Atmos drivers. All in all, the quality and sonic capabilities of the DefTech products I have purchased surprised me greatly. I did not expect I would be so ecstatic about a pair of bipolar speakers. I want to finish by letting folks know that the internal powered subwoofers are terrific, yes, but they are best used to even-out or balance the overall sonics of the bipolar technology (IMHO) more than doing away with the need for a separate subwoofer. I personally prefer the additional sub and especially this particular 1100x as you can fine tune each track via a bluetooth app. Awesome control over low-pass filters, volume crossovers and much more (including the ability to peel unwanted wallpaper and dislodge pesky old paint chips). I chose the Marantz as I discovered almost everything else out there right now is not constructed in accordance with my preferred components and configurations. I'm referring to the circuitry itself, not the bells and whistles. Just my views, of course. Happy hunting.

Upgraded from my Yamaha NS 777 floor standing. Excellent sound quality.. Used a subwoofer Y splitter cable to power the subs in these towers. Absolutely see the difference!!. These are pretty heavy speakers. Make sure you have help & not moving them by yourself. Be careful with the fabric that goes around it. If it stretches, there's no way to fix them easily.

A very solid and musical speaker with plenty of bass. I enjoy these most when listening to music. The full range of sounds are all represented. For movies the bass helps a lot but make sure to match it with a similar sized center for best performance.

I could go into detail about the speakers, but everybody hears differently. I treated myself to these towers and I haven’t regretted the purchase for one second. They are great to listen to music in stereo with a decent sub for added bass. And I was surprised how good they function in a home theater set up as well. The only downside is how the entire speaker is wrapped in felt, which makes it difficult to move them.

I bought these for surround rear speakers. Excellent choice because sound bounces off the rear wall also, making a much better surround experience. I always felt my rear speakers were the weak link in my system, but not anymore! Built in subs are also nice for the rear channel also. I’m running them full range and not using LFE input.

Huge upgrade for me. Came from pro monitor 1000 for fronts to the bp9020. It’s a huge upgrade. I also have the CS9040 center and relocated the pro monitor 1000 to the rear have have Yamaha RX-a2a powering everything in a dedicated home theatre room.
