This is the second best speaker purchase I have ever made. The first was a pair of BP-9020s I made well over a decade ago and have enjoyed in my great room sound system ever since. These two have matched or exceeded the performance of that first pair in every aspect. The expansive sound stage created by the forward and backward firing drivers is excellent, while the astonishingly robust bass performance of the 8" integrated powered subwoofer makes me wonder just how much better the larger BP series speakers can possibly be. The packaging that these speakers come in shouts high-end dedication to excellence from the time you open the bottom of the box to allow you to install the cast aluminum base to the moment you close the elegant box that the base and its accessories are packed in, flip the box over and slip off the entire carton and the protective cloth bag that encases and protects the tower itself. Once the towers are placed according to the recommendations in the very detailed owner's manual and connected to a receiver or other sound source, the obsession that went into the design and construction of these speakers is evident. From the sturdy bi-amplification and LFE connection options to the simplicity of the wrap-around protective sleeve that encases the speakers from top to bottom, these speakers are truly the result of an obsession to sound. The crystal clear highs, strong, detailed midrange and full rich bass make for a pleasant and striking sonic presentation that will take your breath away. One day I may be able to afford one of the larger sets of BP9000 towers, but until then these will do nicely.

Speakers are great! Love sub located in back. Totally eliminated the need for separate sub. Using as part of tv entertainment system. Music is great! Paired with the right receiver you will love these speakers!

The Def Tech 9000 series are awesome. They fill our room with Rich sound and the built-in subs are fantastic and adjustable. The are accurate sounding and are solid for both music and movies! I highly recommend them!

Great sound ,loved it the minute I heard the quality.

These speakers sound amazing whether I am watching movies or listening to music. The integrated adjustable sub woofer and being bipolar make these speakers a homerun. The sound quality is amazing!!

I like Def Tech speakers, so I will be out front with that. I bought these to pair with my Def Tech Mythos two side speakers and CS-8060 center channel speaker. I repurposed the Mythos two speakers as surround speakers and installed the BP-9060 towers in the front and I couldn't be happier. My speaker system is paired with a Sony STR-dn1080 receiver. While it does an very good job processing everything, it(at least my receiver) is a little glitchy. When the receiver isn't glitching, the speakers are fantastic. I would recommend to anyone thinking about buying a home theater setup in the future.

Sound great, subs hit nice. Just have the teo towers and the center with the sub. All together can't go wrong.

I like the way these sound but i have had some issues with them functioning consistently. I have had them each repaired more than once. The older def techs i had lasted much longer with no issues.

Speakers sound great and the sub woofer added to the towers and center channel help elimate the need for an actual seperate sub. This is a nice space saver.

Went to Best Buy in Glendale, CA and heard these speakers in the theater room. Never heard better sound or clarity. No subwoofer needed with these. Each speaker has a bass level control. Must buy.

Great sound, you just need right amplifier to get the best out of these speakers. I got 9020 towers but I wish I got 9060 ones for even more power J.

Got these to replace some old Yamaha speakers (NX-A200XT). These sound like night and day between them. I knew my old Yamaha were okay but these new speakers sound great. I have not been able to try the attached Atmos speakers as Atmos but they are connected to front presence and sound good. I listened to several speakers in a Magnolia store before purchasing these and do not regret my decision.

The smallest of the BP90 series but by far the best sounding. The larger 40 and 60 sound less detailed and muddier than the BP 9020. I am using these more for 2 ch audio more than theater. For 2 ch the BP 9020 sounded so much more dynamic than all everything in the Magnolia room regardless of price.

These speakers are great. The sound coming out of them is perfect. they also include a powered subwoofer on each of them making it the perfect pair of speakers for a home theater system.

I have now owned these speakers for several weeks and I am still amazed every time I turn them on how good they sound. Full rich bass, and clear true highs. The best speakers I have ever heard!

Pricey but worth the investment. Bestbuy had this speaker system on sale in a great bundled deal. Great performance speaker system - yes- system the base and midrange speaker are all-in-one tower!

I was skeptical when I first bought these. I bought a pair of these and the center speaker. Two days later I added on the tears and Dolby atmos toppers. I was amazed with just the two fronts. Now I feel as if I am genuinely inside the movie. These are simply mind-blowing. Not just from volume (that too) but, you don’t just hear, but feel every minute detail of the film. I replayed all of the music I use to love and now I I have fallen in love with it again. Genuinely Impressed. Best Buy did a great job pairing this system for my den.
