Accompanied with four ceiling speakers this produce offers the treble clarity needed from your TV, since new TVs have virtually no speakers in them these days. Would recommend getting this or another sound bar if you're getting a new TV.

I needed a center-channel speaker for my surround sound system and this speaker was spectacular! Pricey but worth it!

For my first home theater set-up, I purchased a pair of Def Tech BP9020’s, but skipped the CS9040 in favor of this Procenter 1000. Overall, it is a good speaker for the price and size, but I found it was overpowered by the towers and ended up constantly turning up & down the volume on the receiver (Pioneer VSX LX303) to hear dialogue. Traded it in for the CS9040 and have had much better luck. That said, if used in a more casual living room setup, this will suffice.
