    Based on all the reviews I was excited to get these hooked up to a Yamaha 481 5.1 receiver (purchased at same time). I get that these are smaller and won't have the range of floor speakers but they seem very monotone. I tried X-Box games, Internet radio, Bluetooth and SatTV all with the same results. The sub is terrible. Does not "BOOM" but rather kinda pops like it can't reach the frequency range. I'm going to install them in their permanent locations as having them farther apart might add more of a dynamic experience, If not, I'll return and upgrade to the DefTech 1000 system. I'll update the review but I'm not confident moving the speakers will change much. It certainly won't do anything for the sub.

    System did not meet expectations. One of the speakers had a rattle when at certain frequencies. Took back.
