I'm very pleased with this surround sound system. I doubt one could beat the sound quality at this price point. It has a great high-to-low sound spread, so it's great for playing everything from jazz to rock to movie sound tracks. With my 100 watt-per-channel amp, there's no sound distortion even at the highest volume. It does, however, have a bit of a confusing setup, so read the instructions carefully.

This tiny system, packs a big punch. Solid quality speakers and subwoofer. Only downside, had to spend an additional $150 for the mounts, as none are included in the package.

still in the box, haven't installed it yet but the other unit witch was the same model worked great until it blow 2 speakers after 5 years.

Using this setup with a DENON AVR-S710W and the sound is beyond my expectations!

This set is amazing! I had Boston acoustic and it can't hold a candle stick to Definitive

Definitely satisfied my craving for a theatre like experience!! Highly recommended!! Make sure to get a Magnolia certified AV receivers to get the best sound! Great in music as well. I have mine hook-up to a Pioneer VSX-32 using monster cable wires!..all worth it!

I used to own Denon HT system with inexpensive Denon speakers. Lately I upgraded the receiver because of 4K tech, and then I decided to upgrade the speakers too. Compared to my old Denon speakers, the improvement is marginal. Dialogue is clearer. The bass is solid but weak.

These speakers have such rich sound, so much better than the bookshelf speakers I looked at and even better than the Bose system I looked at. I cannot say enough good things about the sound.

very happy with the DT 600 speaker system. I purchased from BB as part of a package with Yamaha RX-A660 AVR at a good price. Considered several other speaker systems (including Bose) and this one seemed to fit my needs best and the price from BB was great. Needed a small speaker footprint for space available and the DT provided this. Wanted to improve movie dialog as well as music clarity and the Yamaha/DT did this very well. I would give the system a 5 star rating based upon performance EXCEPT the DT customer service "blew me off" on a relatively simple question via email. They basically said that it took too long to bother with me and I should call them directly, which gave me an alternative but to answer the question would have taken about the same time as their response. Somewhat annoying, hope that I don't need them again. They shouldn't offer a service if they can't support it.

For the price point I have never heard anything better than Def Tech. This system, dare I say, rivals Bose! In fact, when I compared the two, I loved these more! But Bose is twice as much.....go figure. What truly brings this system together is the Yamaha Aventage RX A740 Receiver, which came as a package deal. WOW! BOOM! This receiver has an awesome array af functions and sound settings that enable you to get everything out of these speakers. It's a marriage made in heaven. I will have this system in my home for years to come, and will, without hesitation, buy Definitive Technology again, however I don't know that I will ever need to, unless of course my kids steal them. Haha

These are really nice speakers. Not just on how they perform but in there looks as well, should fit almost any decor. I highly recommend wiring the Right and Left front speakers through the sub (option 1 in the instructions)! I could really tell a difference rather than wiring them directly to the receiver. If you are worried about the size of the sub don't be! This sub is ten times better than my previous 12" sub. Because it's a down firing sub it will shake the floors and can hit hard (very impressed). Let’s just say I went into BB to buy another brand and walked out with this setup. Thanks Definitive!!

The surround sound works so well that the cat is terrified. Don't much like that cat and she hates me. Win-Win!

These entry level procinema series blow away all competition at this price point. The movie sound is crystal clear and powerful. It's designed for movies so the music playing is not as good but still solid. The 8" prosub it comes with packs a tight punch in a small case. For satellite speakers that can be mounted, there's no better sound.

I currently have an onkyo 5.1 system in my bed room. These speakers sound worlds better than those. The extra money for these was worth it.

I have been looking for satellite speakers for a while and I wanted a system that sound great for both Music and Movies without the very high price tags and its was very hard to get one. I finally dediced to go with this system few weeks ago. It has a great sound for the high and mid however the bass is not so easy to set up. It can be too much bass or lack of bass, so you have to keep on adjusting. I still am working to get the correct setting as I am not fully satisfied with the setting as of now. I also notice the frequency adjustment does not make much difference to the sound. I have a cheaper Sony Subwoofer and I can tell the frequency changes when adjustment is being done but the DefTech some how does not make much difference.

We are glad we purchased this sound system for our new 60" LED TV. We are really enjoying our new set-up!!

The Definitive Technology - ProCinema 600 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System has tremendous sound quality at a great price point.

I purchased these on 9/11/2008, had the Geek Squad install the enitre system (TV,rec,, Spk system in my new house in Oct. of 2008. Since then, I have had nothing pure clear sounnds out these Definitive speakers. Even though I am currently on my 3rd AV receiver, these speakers hae handled everythng asked of them, & still offer more. Great speakers & price I would put in all my rooms.
