The Definitive Technology - ProCinema 600 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System was the perfect choice for our living room. With a metal door, two large picture windows, and six foot archway into the room, I thought it would be a challenge to fill the room with the Cinema-like sound I was going for, considering my budget. The system is great. I've had to tone down the the sub-woofer due to the proximity to our multi-disk DVD player, as it tended to rattle the disk in side the player like the trunk on a cheap low-rider. The 5.1 system miraculously separates the sound. I especially like watching concerts due to the effects that seem to discreetly separates the audience from the talent, whereby the crowds seems to surround us we sit with people behind and around us. BTW, we've paired this with an Epson 2045 Home Cinema projector with a throw of barely 12 feet, producing a 9 foot, awesomely crisp picture on a pull down screen. Who needs to leave the house!

I have always been impressed by speakers by Definitive Technology. After seeing the price drop, I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. These speakers pack a punch for such a small speaker. Great Bass, clear highs, Sounds great for both 5.1 theatre and music.

I had planed on buying some Bose speakers until I heard these at Best Buy. I did the final tweaking after having them installed by the Geek Squad. To my ears they are as good as or better then the Bose speakers I was looking at. If you are loking foe really good speakers at a good price, check these out.

Surprisingly okay sound for such small and lightweight drivers. I’m used to pro studio monitors so my “okay” might be other people’s “very good”. And at the sale price, it was worth buying two sets just to have double subs and extra Atmos channels.

I purchased this to replace my Bose home theater system which did not work very well. These speakers sound fairly good, but are not overpowering. Took awhile to get the subwoofer balanced. Good performance for my needs.

These speakers provide great sound. Some noises freak my family out and explosions often scare us.

Awesome surround sound theater system! Just what my wife was shopping for. The volume does not have to be turned up as loud as we used to turn it up and no matter where in the room you are sitting, you get the whole stereo effect! We love it!

I am no audiophile, so my review is strictly based on what I think sounds good. I paired these speakers with a Pioneer VSX-822K I picked up on sale. I love the clarity and the bass. Now it did take some time to narrow done the bass since it can get over powering. Overall I am happy I went with this setup!

These are a good looking set of speakers that provide incredible sound. You won't be disappointed.

I spent months looking for sound for the living room. The sound bars just left so much on the table. I was looking for a wow factor. I enjoy listening to music at home and the surround for games and movies. This combo which I went to order in store after extensive research, even impressed the sales team. This is entry level stuff, however its the higher tier stuff. It's like an entry level Lexus instead of a fully loaded Toyota. Not sure if that is a great analogy. I believe this receiver will bring years of enjoyment and is future proof. I don't have a 4k TV yet. I also realized my TV is not sufficient because I can't use a fiber optic cable to connect to the receiver do to lack of the port on the TV. Only trouble is hiding all the wires and having a clean install. I probably have about 3 hours into setting this up properly with custom settings and hiding wires. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting sound!

Great sound. Steal at sale price! Easy to hang, (wall mounts not included). Beautiful shiny look with outstanding sound! Heavy. Center speaker is amazing. Wow! Subwoofer is ok. Adjustable with volume control. (Speaker wire not included).
