Disappointed

The only reason its not 5 stars is on satellite shorted out during calibration and tripped the amp. Another satellites midrange driver quit and only the tweeter produced sound. I have an older DefTech system and it has been excellent.

Good speakers, sub-woofer is a let down

The centre channel could have been powerful. The sub woofer however is a disappointment. It just rumbles not without packing a punch, to be honest the sub in my 250$ vizio 5.1 packs a punch in a big living room than this def tech in a 11x11. Sub is a big let down, so mind it.

A corner is an excellent place to start. Room corners will typically provide the best bass performance. Oustanding home theater sound

Bought this on sale and I am glad I did, I actually ditched the sound bar and it is a day and night difference connected to my Yamaha receiver.

You can better off with the TV speaker system or Projector speaker system. I do not recommend this anyone.. Subwoofer is a joke.

In fact the installers actually recommended that I use my existing sub woofer as it had more punch than the new one.
