The surround sound does not seem to be much of an improvement over the one I already have. In fact the installers actually recommended that I use my existing sub woofer as it had more punch than the new one.

Crystal Clear music from the satellites. The centre channel could have been powerful. The sub woofer however is a disappointment. It just rumbles not without packing a punch, to be honest the sub in my 250$ vizio 5.1 packs a punch in a big living room than this def tech in a 11x11. Sub is a big let down, so mind it.

Exactly what I was looking for. The price was great for a full system and you don't have to worry about aligning the speakers like you would if you were picking them separately. The sounds is great whether listening to music or driving the theater experience with a movie. I use Thor:ragnorok as the test movie for sound and it engulfs my room (15x18). only improvement could be a stronger powered sub, but I ended up reusing my old sub so I am driving 2 subs off my Sony 590 receiver. Highly recommend this system.

These speakers are deceptive with their small footprint, until you crank them up and then it's time to rock. Easy to conceal or mount to the stands made for them. Best when used with mid to high end amplifiers.

When my old speakers died I did research read all the reviews and watched YouTube reviews I went with Definitive Technology - ProCinema 6D most of the reviews said they where best bang for the price rang. Mine is powered by a Denon S950H. These speakers are mounted to the ceiling using Sanus WMS3. I have been using these speakers now for two weeks now the sound quality is phenomenal.

This was a steal first of all. we moved into a new house and even though the media room is larger I thought I needed something smaller. I swapped out Definitive 2002, 2 BP6B, I have 2 450's that I couldn't use in the previous room which made it only a 3.1. I'm not the least big sorry. A Bose system couldn't have done this. I know, I own one. The sound is very crisp and truly encompasses the full range. They ate hooked up to a Sony STR-DN1080 rated at 165w/ch RMS. If you like great sound but are not a fan of huge speakers, this is your system.

This system really creates a true surround sound experience.
