    Auto-switch input, Pairing issue

    It's great when it works.

Much like a previous reviewer, my unit automatically switches inputs by itself. Also, the sub won't pair with the bar all the time. I have to turn it off then on again to pair. Is there a firmware update available? I'm waiting on Def Tech to get back to me. I like it when it works, but right now it is just a hassle to get it to work properly. If Def Tech can't help me, it's going back.

Sounds more like floor speakers than a soundbar

Not much has changed in the world of sound equipment. You have the cheap stuff and you have the stuff that makes the cheap stuff sound really cheap. This is the latter. I mostly just needed a soundbar with clean enough sound that I could understand dialog at low volume. Based on reviews I thought I'd be happy with the $400 Sony soundbar, but to me it sounded the same as my TV speakers with a subwoofer. So took it back and got this on advice from the Magnolia rep. I'm very satisfied. Very clean sound. Very low distortion at high volume. A truly quality piece of equipment. Don't waste your $ on the cheap stuff.
