Customers are saying
Customers praise the W Studio Micro 3.1-Channel Soundbar for its exceptional sound quality, with many saying it is great. They also appreciate its easy setup process and the powerful bass from the wireless subwoofer. The low profile and modern design of the soundbar also receive positive feedback. However, some customers have concerns about the remote control, which can stop functioning after a year, and the connectivity issues experienced by a few users. Additionally, a small number of customers feel that the soundbar is overpriced.

Great sound and easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the remote is a pain to use. No response from the remote or visual notification on the TV. You can barely tell. Listening.

Awesome sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I was skeptical in purchasing this sound system but when I got home and connected everything and started playing around with different sound I was so impressed and really happy that I got it. It has an awesome sound for everything you want to hear.

Good Sound but Frustrating App
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the look and performance of the DT products but like so many, I find the app very frustrating and inconsistent. I get everything set up and working to my satisfaction and later find one speaker has dropped off the app or can't be found. Spend 30 minutes to get it resolved only to repeat the next time.

Just ok, too expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointing for it to a premium sound bar. Sound is clear but Mids are virtually nonexistent, no EQ for custom sound and bass response is less than acceptable. The subwoofer drops intermittently and cannot reproduce low frequencies while playing music. An expensive Polk sb1+.

Works great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was working great until we lost all audio, both for the television and the sound bar. Now, I have to see if we can get the Geek Squad back out to correct this.

Balance of sound levels not good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the sound is good for each individual level such as bass and treble on center speaker, The center mid range level doesn't seem to be balanced. One of my favorite theme songs is the song from the Game of Thrones intro and when I listened to it the bass and the treble were Balanced but the mid range you couldn't hardly hear and there is no way to adjust mid range. I Will be returning it. The bass is pretty overpowering.

Excellent Soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first due to being unfamiliar with Definitive Technologies. However, after doing the research and seeing what great reviews it received, I gave it a try. I am glad I did as it is of superior quality and produces superior sound.

Really Suprised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of sound from this soundbar is excellent. The true DTS Surround with actual center in the bar, when it is paired with another set of Paly-Fi speakers is excellent.

Very good sound bar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To get to the point, let me tell you what I think is great about the product and what isn't great. Great: Soundbar quality/powerful sub, low profile/modern design of the soundbar, easy setup, 3.1 system, ability to add remote speakers for surround experience, and the ability to toggle the middle speaker within the soundbar. Not great: Lack of bluetooth connectivity (though not a huge deal), no automatic off after a period of non-use, below average remote control legibility. You know how on shows like "House Hunters", people have a laundry list of "must haves" (4,000 sq/ft, pool, open floorplan, great neighborhood, new construction, wine cellar) and then only have a budget of $200,000? I find that most people that have reviewed this product and give it a 1 Star of the similar mentality -- unrealistic expectations. I will preface this post by letting you know that I looked at a lot of soundbars (online and in-store) before I purchased this product. In fact, I had originally purchased a similar Sony 3.1 system (HTZ9F) that is brand new for 2018 with all of these fancy technologies to mimic Atmos sound (for nearly the same price). I was so disappointed that I returned it the same day. Additionally, I previously owned a 2.1 Sony soundbar that had good sound (and was only ~$250) that was purchased in 2013. The reason for the new soundbar was (in part) because I wanted something with a slimmer profile and mostly because I wanted to improve on the sound quality. Simply put, if your first priority is a soundbar that has very good sound quality, then you should strongly consider this device; however, if your first priority is not sound quality, but instead other features, then you should probably look elsewhere. My priority is sound quality: If I wanted mediocre sound, I would not buy a soundbar and stick with the factory speakers of my new 65" Sony TV. To me, I wanted to have as close to a professional audio system (i.e. receiver, amp, sub, speakers, etc.) without: 1) having to dedicate that much space; 2) having to spend that much money (easily north of $1,200); and 3) having to spend a lot of time on the installation or hire someone else to install it. Will a soundbar have perfect sound? Certainly not within my $800 > price-point. A lot of the resoundingly negative reviews have come from people who have mostly commented that there is not an HDMI cable, there is no bluetooth connection, and/or that the remote sucks. Those are fair criticisms, but if those issues are such a high priority, then why would someone purchase this soundbar in the first place or not return it within a few days of the purchase (Best Buy has a 15-day return policy, after all)? I think that it would be wise to evaluate your priorities ("must haves") within your price-point and then decide on the best unit for you. Other options to consider: 1. Sonos PLAYBAR: Sounds great, but the sub is an additional $700.00 totaling ~$1,300. 2. Klipsch RSB-11: Very good sound, but it was too bulky for my needs.

AMAZING sound!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, TVs come with built-in speakers, but when you're spending money on a big, new tv, buying the soundbar makes so much sense!!!! (Yes, it adds another remote, but ~ it's sooooooo worth it!!!) Fabulous technology!!!!

Sound fills the room
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how the sound fills the room! I set this up with a projector and we watch movies now on a big portable movie screen. It feels and sounds as if we are at the theater!

AMAZING SOUND
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BY FAR THE BEST SOUND BAR ON THE MARKET. Can actually hear sideline conversations during football games. Hope it will eventually drown out Chris Collinsworth and Dan Fouts.
