Decent sound bar but Definitve Techs higher up Model sound bar is so worth the price difference

I love the settings on the sound bar, the base quality is great but most importantly are the two settings for movies and music.

I feel like I'm in a movie theater with IMAX surround sound when I turn it up. Well worth it.

I like that you can mount the speaker on the wall and that it does not take up a lot of space

I was not sure about this but I am very happy with the sound. Nice bass. I only use it for sound for movies and not for music as I have a Sonos for that. But I do like what I hear!

The family and I are looking forward to enjoying a theater experience with this new sound bar

Out of the box the soundbar failed and had to be replaced. For the inconvenience I was sent a W7 speaker and it failed new out of the box twice before getting a 3rd one that now works well. Definitive has a lot of connectivity issues but when working the system sounds great.

Quite simply the perfect sound bar ever made. The more expensive option might look appealing, but this model is the best balanced sound you’re gonna get out of a sound bar.

It does not produce the sound that the surround sound it replaced which was a Panasonic.

It was not explained to me that these speakers had to use the Internet. To do so, they need at least 20 mbs to stay in synch with each other. The best we can get locally is 18 mbs. So it was difficult to get and keep the surround sound speakers in synch.

Works great when connected. But I’d rarely working through the app. Hardwiring is the only way to go as you need to connect and set up the system one a day. Great idea but poor design.

I bought it on sale for $500, and it is the best mid lives sound bar I sampled. I would absolutely recommend it if your tv/equipments supports Dolby digital.

We like that we can turn up the center channel so that the dialog is easier to hear over all the background sound.

I checked the reviews before purchasing this product, most people enjoyed it. Some wasn’t happy. But I brought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it!!!

This is my best buy experience with this product. So here's my issue. I buy a 1000.00 Definitive Audio soundbar. I get a good deal on it as an open box item. The salesmen assures me there's no issue with it and if there is, BEST BUY "will take care of it no problems, It has the same warranty as a new one" 3-4 months later it breaks, Sounds like everything is underwater. They tell me that the warranty is up on it and that my only option is to have it repaired by the manufacturer. I'm ok with that. They tell me to leave just the soundbar, that they do not need the subwoofer.... 5 weeks later I hear nothing from them and I am wondering whats going on. I go in, they tell me they were trying to contact me because they needed the subwoofer to repair it. I didn't receive any word from them because they had all the wrong information on me, nothing was correct on their record except my name... SO, I bring them the subwoofer. They tell me they will rush the repair for me in compensation for the inconvenience. A month later they call me and tell me "we can't fix the soundbar that I have been approved to get a NEW bar for replacement". All I had to do is call my local store and This information would be in the system. I call, the manager tells me all he can do is give me store credit Because "YOU GOT TOO GOOD OF A DEAL ON THE SOUNDBAR" we CAN'T give you a new one. All we can do is give you store credit and you can purchase a new one at full price. I then ask for my old soundbar back so I can have it repaired by an outside source......... They tell me no I can't have it back because I signed a contract to fix it, and if the can't that they would give me my money back or give me the equal or greater item in return. well, I don't want my money back I want MY PROPERTY BACK. Or an EQUAL OR GREATER item in return. It's been more than 2 months without my soundbar and I'm told that ill have to wait an undisclosed amount of time till they get a new Openbox buy and then renegotiate what they want to sell it to me for, or take STORE CREDIT. And those are my only options. Well, I definitely don't want store credit because I will never buy from BESTBUY again, and I am very passionate and serious about that commitment. COSTCO and Amazon have equal to better deals anyway. I almost made the purchase from Costco in the first place I just ran into a good salesman at BestBuy and made a bad decision and purchase from BestBuy. I will never make that mistake again.

This was an amazng setup. First one lasted about a year. Then I got an update and it wouldn't keep the sub connected. Second lasted a month and updated and wouldn't keep the sub connected. Thrid one lasted a week and would squeel like a firehouse alarm. Exchanged.

Sounded great aim the store and looked forward to install but the dims are offa bit due to beveled edges making it hard to fit in a custom space

Not compatible with my cable remote so that was disappointing

I love having the option of "dialing" up the dialogue amp!
