Won’t service subwoofer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this sounbar / sub combo for almost 5 years...It has excellent sound...until it doesn’t. One day the sub stopped working. DT support (who has generally been excellent) was literally a joke. I was asked to reset the soundbar and re-pair the sub. Neither worked. At that point, they told me there is nothing they can do and that they do not service any of the soundbar subwoofers. So it’s great while it lasts. After that, they wipe their hands clean. Seems completely ridiculous. The Play-fi system was quite terrible as well. Seems like their customer support is headed in the same direction. Too bad.

Sound quality isn't very good with optical cable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had this mounted by bestbuy. The technician installed it using an optical cable. It didn't sound like it did the store. Basically, the sound quality just didn't sound very full and it felt like some sounds were missing. So, I switched it to use hdmi and it sounds much better. Basically the sound bar acts as a hub/switch and connects all of my devices. The problem is - I am not able to view 4K on my tv (Samsung KV9000) with this configuration. It is really disappointing. I will be returning it later this week.
