QHD was all I need - excellent brightness and picture with a thin bezel. Take away one star for high price.

it's a good monitor but I guess my expectations were high. I changed it to different monitor.

The screen is very good and the overall look of the monitor is also good. It only has 2 HDMI ports though and the screen went black on several occasions - apparently a well-known problem with this monitor. I returned this and bought a different one that Best Buy suggested.

This is the best I could find in its price range. I use it for work and it’s perfect.

Still haven’t figured out how to keep audio when monitor is used with my laptop.

Nice monitor, wish the stand was adjustable. A dvi input would be nice.

Item would have been great but did not fit my space.

Having intermittent blackouts.have to reboot occasionally.

The Dell 27" HDR IPS LED QHD Monitor made a great pairing for the Dell - Inspiron Desktop that I reviewed earlier. With direct HDMI input, the response time and vibrant colors just popped. The only reason that I gave it only 4 stars was that there are no integrated speakers on this monitor. Once I dug up a set of powered speakers, the sound quality was intense. Very nice for most things, even at higher volume, showing good 'pass through' sound. Fully expected with HDMI input. Thin screen format and small, but sturdy, desk stand cleared up some room on my desk and allowed me to sit the monitor farther back for better viewing and less eye strain than previous monitors I have owned.

Not sure what the issue was that the USB-C connection looked like junk, but for that reason I can not recommend. Opted for an LG instead and never looked back.

This is definitely the thinnest monitor I have ever seen. It is lightweight, too! Taking it out of the box, it was ready to go. The base and stand are metal, not flimsy plastic like many monitors. This allows it to sit solidly on the desk. The only physical adjustment for the monitor is tilting the screen. It does not swivel or have height adjustment, which is why the monitor does not receive five stars. All of the adjustment buttons are under the bottom right-hand side of the screen. Another item missing from the monitor is a USB port. Although the computer does have ample USB ports, I like when the monitor also has them because it's easy to connect a thumb drive or other peripheral to the monitor rather than fumbling around with the desktop unit. The color on the monitor is excellent. I have used it to look at blueray videos, zoomed in pictures, and streaming video. In every case, the monitor showed as much detail as the particular media could offer. I also have another brand of monitor that is a similar size and age. Hands down the Dell monitor is the best overall for picture quality, and the Dell does not show any random lines or squiggles. One neat item is that it has two HDMI inputs. So, I can have it hooked up always to the desktop unit, and keep a second cord attached for times I want a larger screen while using my desktop. It's fairly easy to switch between HDMI 1 and HDMI 2. Overall, I highly recommend this monitor

QHD too small for me. I returned this one and got a different one that was for HD

The Dell Ultrathin 27" S2719DM monitor is a superb display. It sports 2560x1440 resolution, 5ms response time and up to 600 cd/m2 of brightness. This is the first monitor I've owned where I had to turn down the default brightness. While it defaults to 60hz refresh rate, I was able to bump it up to 75hz in normal (non-HDR) operation. It certainly lives up to the Ultrathin moniker. It feels like it's about 1/4" thick, but there are no VESA mounting holes to take advantage of that thinness. You have to use the included stand. The bezel is 1/4" wide all around. As great as this monitor is, there are a few places where I'm left wanting more. This monitor only has two HDMI inputs. No DVI. It doesn't have any speakers. The power supply has a light at the end of the cord which casts a dim white light mostly onto the base of the stand, but there is some light cast onto the wall behind my monitor whether the monitor is on or off. The resolution is great, I can cascade several windows without feeling crowded. I've had to increase the text size in a few applications to transition to this resolution, but it's quite comfortable and text is sharp. Colors pop in normal operation. Colors really stand out in HDR, although the HDR doesn't punch hard enough for my taste. Monitor control is achieved by 5 buttons on the bottom of the monitor on the right hand side. They are much more preferable than my work monitors with soft-buttons that don't register my touch half the time. And I like these buttons more than Samsung's Joystick on the back of the monitor. It really is a superb display and while I am disappointed with a few options, I kinda wish I could afford a second S2719DM.

Great monitor while it lasts. Less than two years (1 year warranty) ribbons connector failed resulting in vertical magenta lines of pixels on the screen.

Light bleed, poor viewing angles, and a lack of connection options left me really disappointed. I ended up returning this one.
