Have had other Dell products and had great success with them. Unit would suddenly go dark with no pic and no sound for 5 to 10 seconds. After trying the usual troubleshooting procedures with no success, called Geek Squad and was told that it sounded like a fuse and to return product for replacement. Tried another one and it was the same way. Tried a different brand and it works great.

Incredible 27" HDR IPS LED QHD Monitor

I have chosen Dell monitors for years now as they offer incredible picture quality at a reasonable price. I chose to use this 27" monitor for my two sons to use for their homework PC as well as the occasional games. The first thing you notice when taking this monitor out of the box is how incredibly thin it is and the second thing you notice is that generally, the build quality is incredible. I say generally because there is one aspect of the design that lets it down and that is the placement of the control buttons. Or more accurately, the design does not provide the user with a clear indication of what button does what. After a few days though I'm sure it would become second nature but it would have been nice to have provided some on screen assistance, such as icons on the screen as you touch the buttons before pressing them. After determining which of the buttons turns the display on you'll almost instantly forget about the issue with the buttons and the picture quality is incredible. I usually attach photos to the reviews that I write but decided not to as the photos do not convey the quality of the picture displayed by this monitor.

This monitor is exceptionally thin while still giving a bright, crisp picture. Color saturation is right on point and even with my tired old eyes everything looks fantastic! It has 2 HDMI inputs and an audio output that breaks out sound from your current HDMI input source. There is pretty much no bezel on it either - no wasted real estate on the screen! A lot of bang for your buck - definitely worth your consideration!

Three weeks after buying this it, one day it started blinking and changing screen colour rapidly and finally one couldn't see any display. I returned it to the store, the person who attended to me noticed that the back cover was slightly opened and he denied me refund. Painful I was treated that way. I had to buy HP all-in-one.

Had this for 10 days and decided to be replaced by an LG 4K monitor. The one i brought home wasnt as good as the one i saw in the store display. Im not sure if i had a defective one but Video/Picture doesnt look like HD, its more like an upscaled HD. Tried different setting, different HDMI cables and still didnt solve the problem.

I’m using this monitor with my Dell desktop. It is larger than the 19”-21” monitors I typically use and I’m just loving the abundance of viewing area. It’s also brighter than I’m used to thanks to its maximum 600-nit. And in a case of firsts, this is the first monitor I’ve had that uses HDMI cables (it has slots for two of them) to connect to the desktop. This monitor is crystal clear. Mind you, I’m not using it for gaming, just plenty of YouTube, document processing, and the occasional movie. While many of the monitors I’ve used in the past allow you to raise or lower the screen, this one doesn’t: it is limited to a tilt function. It’s also very thin (the documentation indicates that it’s 5.5mm at its thinnest point). As large as this screen is, its thin profile is not consuming a lot of my available desk space. Buttons on the underside allow you to tweak the monitor’s settings accordingly, like adjusting brightness, selecting which of the two HDMI ports you want to use (should you be using this monitor with two different systems), or any number of changes you might deem necessary. All in all, I’m very pleased.

So, this guy replaces my old Dell 27" monitor which had only 1920 x 1440 resolution. From that to this Quad HD 2560x1440 resolution, everything is just so much better. It gives up a little peak color saturation but at this price, this is one of the best choices available. And it beats pretty much all other screens in this price range in style and design!! Here is my list of pros and cons: Pros: 1. It has great out-of-box HDR accuracy 2. The contrast is great 3. Awesome styling, the tilt feature is great. It goes 15 degree back and 5 degree forward. 4. It boasts of 600 nits peak HDR brightness 5. 2 HDMI inputs make it easy for me to switch from my desktop to laptop (if I am looking for larger screen) 6. It has extended colors. Cons: 1. No speakers. This is not an issue for me as I anyways use my bluetooth speakers for my desktop but might be an issue for some. But for some it might be. 2. No adaptive sync. Overall, it is a stylish monitor and has great performance settings to compliment it's stunning looks.

Stunning monitor. The super thin profile along with the the practically non existent bezel combine to make this piece a stunner. The wife does a lot of Photoshop tinkering with her shots, and the sharpness & clarity it adds to her work is miles above anything we've previously owned. 2 HDMI inputs?... Let's see - what can i add? A Roku box, a tv tuner for 4K displays? I see other reviewers have commented about no speakers, but in a monitor this thin, they'd either have to be tiny or backward firing. Ask yourself when was the last time you were happy with the built in speakers of your flat panel tv. That's why they sell so many soundbars. I have this placed on a corner desktop in my dining area, so it's readily in sight of any household visitors. Running a screen saver or photo collage on it, I've never received so many comments on a computer screen. So, not just a monitor, for us it's a bit of an art display as well for the wife's handiwork.

All I need to say is that this is my 4th Dell monitor! Dell monitors are reliable and have excellent picture quality at various price points. They are one of the best companies for solid all around panels. I do occasional gaming, but mostly use it for productivity and photo editing. The picture quality is amazing when paired with the Dell i7 quad core desktop. The only bad thing I can say about this monitor is that I would love to see it have more inputs so I can daisy chain additional monitors, rather than purchasing a display adapter. I love the infinity display because it looks seamless when you have additional monitors side by side. It was easy to set up right out of the box and I love the new cord management set up. Pros: +Colors are amazing +Performance has been solid. It's suits my needs for occasional gaming and photo editing. + Dell provides fabulous build quality.

I got this monitor to go with a new desktop system from Dell. Compared to my old monitorand system from 10 years plus ago, it has good detail and contrast is pretty good. It is fairly bright even with full florescent lights on, and the viewing angle is good. It has 2 HDMI inputs that are good should I choose to hook up a second source, and this does have HDR to take advantage of 4k HDR content. The audio/line out jack is handy should I have to use headphones, I won't need to go behind my computer to hook up. The cons I have are the screen must have a bit of anti-reflective treatment on it that takes some of the colors an makes them dull at times, more noticeable with dark/black areas on the screen. Second, for the cost of this I can get a larger 4k tv with tunner and such, I'm very surprised this is not a touchscreen. The screen is a bit large for my routine office/school work, did not really think it'd be as big as it is until I got it on my desk. Better for gaming I would say. overall, a good monitor, I give it 4 stars because 3.5 isn't an option, mainly because of pricing (MSRP 399.99) and not touch screen.

    Great Monitor

This one is a little pricey, I will admit, but it's honestly amazing! Forewarning though, I'm not a pro graphic designer or anything, so if you want a more professional opinion, go elsewhere. Do note that the "fast" response option tends to have a lot more ghosting than at normal, if you use a NVidia GPU, but otherwise, it's tolerable. There is a bit of backlight bleed, but I found that it slowly went away after a little while. Been using it for about 4 months now and haven't had any problems at all. In fact, I think the backlight bleed has completely gone away now. If you get a monitor that has some backlight bleed, unless it's super bad, just leave it be for a while. Eventually the screen should sort of.... Settle.... And it will go away. I honestly barely noticed any when I got mine right out of the box. Unless I put my monitor in a super dark room and put a pitch black screen up, it was unoticeable. So yeah, definitely a good quality monitor. I also love the sleek design! It's almost like it floats! in terms of the display, the colors pop real nicely and the blacks are REALLY black. Then again, I used a cheapo TN display for about a decade, so this is actually very new to me. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who wants a good IPS monitor! It may not be the best for gaming because of ghosting (if you are competitive, and not just a casual gamer like me), but it does well in just about any other situation

This monitor has an amazing picture. My desk faces the same wall my TV is on, so I was looking at them, comparing them alongside each other, and this device is so much better-- the clarity of picture, and response time alone. It's actually smaller than the TV in that room, but the picture is so much better it doesn't seem smaller. I haven't used a monitor quite this large before, and it adds to the overall experience online. I will definitely spend more time streaming videos on this, and can work from home using this set up as well. I found myself wishing for a remote, which this does not have, since it's a monitor and not a TV, but the buttons are well placed so I can make changes if necessary, but the monitor I received did not need any picture adjustments right out of the box. Set up was easy; while I was loading the CPU I made sure it was in English and checked one other thing, and then it was ready for use. I also like that you can adjust the viewing angle, and have already found that a useful feature. The description mentions that it prevents eye strain. I have not been using it long, but so far it does help with that. It's part of my home set up (although I'd love to bring it to work with me!), so I'm using it after a full day of work, and that is something I look for in a device. The box did arrive damaged, but that's a minor shipping issue, and there was no damage to the monitor; it was well-packaged, and that's probably what protected it from damage. I would definitely recommend this device for computing needs, whether business or recreational.

FIt turns out that 1440p is the sweet spot for a 27” monitor. With this Dell, they’ve shrunk the bezel size so the larger screen takes up only ~1” more horizontal space than my 1080p 23” monitor that it replaced. The bezel is nearly non-existent. With the higher resolution and HDR, my pictures look sharper and colors look more true when I’m cropping pictures or fixing blemishes in GIMP. Dell also makes available a display utility which allows you to customize where the Windows “snap to” zones are located on the monitor. With that, you can easily have multiple windows open in a way that they’ll all be useful. While there are some 4K TVs / monitors in this price point, 27” is on the smaller side for that much resolution. The text on a 4K set is very sharp, but it can be very small in the detault scaling option. Not all applications respect the MS scaling options. Some display in wierd ways when scaled. I have to take off a star for lack of VESA suppoprt. You must use it with the included stand. You cannot use it with a monitor mount at all. This also restricts dual monitor installations. tl:dr I would certainly recommend this monitor to anyone working with graphics or games..

Originally went to buy the LG 27UK600 monitor as I wanted 4K and hdr for my PS4 Pro. Local store only had a open box available however this Dell looked much better sitting on display. Bought it instead as it’s supposed to be 2560 x 1440 and hdr. Set it up and tested everything out and was pleasantly surprised. Turned hdr on in the settings and set my color to game. Looked at the video settings on my PS4 and interestingly enough it is displaying at 3840 x 2160 or 4K and has hdr of course. Tried Battlefield V which supports hdr and it looked incredible. Also tried both Fortnite and Apex Legends and both looked amazing. Being a ips screen the colors just pop better than my old Asus 4K non hdr monitor which had a ton panel. It’s response time is set to fast in settings and I have noticed zero issues as of now. Highly recommend this monitor

I'm not a gamer, but wanted: bigger; better resolution & sharper details, better video/streaming; and crisp 3D solid modelling graphics. Very, very pleased with what this monitor gives for the money- a little over $332 w/tax on 4/9/19... I didn't realize my wimpy HP p6310f tower maxed out at 1920x1080 on DVI, so also had to spring for a $65 ASUS GT710-SL-2GD5-CSM GPU for the HDMI. $400 for this monitor and the graphics card made a huge difference and a perfect match-up for my needs. Gamers require their unreal frame rates of course, but this combo is great for my general viewing and working needs. Yeah, I'd recommend this to my friends.

This monitor is amazingly sharp and bright. I use it primarily for embroidery design, updating spreadsheets, web surfing and an occasional movie. This is easy on the eyes and for movies it creates a very pleasing image even with fast action. The contrast is great in so far as I can distinguish between colors that are very close in value easily. Very thin and will tilt but no pivot function Two inputs make it easy to use it with two sources. All in all a great value.
