Good quality monitor especially for working with photos and videos.

Many people pass on the monitor because there are IPS options and this is TN. The colors are great once calibrated. The viewing angles are good (I have 3 of these). The QA is much better than the other brands and Dell has a great warranty.

This is pretty coveted in the Build-A-PC-Sales space, but this wasn't my favorite monitor. For one I had a dead pixel on my original purchase. Best Buy replaced no problem, but on both I had an issue where returning from sleep or opening an app in a different resolution would result in part of the center of the display would instead be shown on the left side of the screen. It also doesn't get super bright.

Monitor is solid, TN panel looks great with gsync at 144hz. Overall build quality is great, sophisticated look and no dead pixels or LB.

Good monitor that’s failing 3 years later, it has it’s issues with Flickering and other such issues lately

Purchased this beauty a few days ago, loving it so far! I can attest to the following: No dead pixels (seems to be the case with most reviews, as well). No flickering/fading/light bleed. Colours are faded out of the box, however adjusting your monitor settings and driver settings fixes it right up: Nvidia Control Panel>Adjust desktop color settings: Brightness-50% Contrast-50% Gamma-0.60 Digital Vibrance-60%-70% (to your taste) Hue-0 Monitor settings: Brightness-30-50% (to your taste, I change mine depending if I'm gaming or watching a movie), Contrast-75%, Color>Custom Color: R-97% G-99% B-96% Despite these settings, dark colours/blacks are a little off and muddy/cloudy in games. You can compensate a bit, but it's not perfect. G-Sync works right away after hooking it up, no changes to settings required. Games run smoothly with no tearing. Obviously just make sure V-Sync is disabled in all of your games and turn off frame limiters. The stand is great, it adjusts very easily and seems to be weighted perfectly to vertical position very smoothly. There is ONLY ONE THING I can complain about, which is text ghosting. Scrolling through a web page causes the text to leave a grey trail behind it. It's pretty noticeable if you're looking for it and scrolling slowly. I did not remove a star from the rating as this is a gaming monitor, and I have not noticed any issues while gaming at all. However while browsing the web and using text editors and such, it is quite noticeable. The quality of the monitor very easily rivals an IPS display. If you can get it on sale, definitely go for it. Other than the minor issue listed above (which you may not even notice - try going into a store and testing it for yourself) this display is nearly flawless and absolutely amazing for gaming.

I got this monitor on 2017 still i am really happy with it no issues at all

must be a year now since I purchased this monitor or even more. I have gtx1080 and can still push decent frames on 1440p, but not close to 144 so I went and got 24" 144hz 1080p freesync monitor. well I can tell you that freesync monitor is good but its nothing like this dell. all that I do regret is that i didnt buy one on black friday but few weeks later for 400 instead 350. its great monitor and if ever breaks it i will be sad

WOW, is the first thing I would like to say. I was using a decent 1080p 60Hz gaming monitor before I got 2 of these Dell monitors. These things blow me away. My games have never looked better, and with G-Sync everything is buttery smooth. I didn't even know gaming could look so smooth! I'm super satisfied w/ my purchase. I got these on sale black friday weekend for $350 each and at that price I pretty much got a steal.

Good monitor with great features for Nvidia graphic cards.

First, I purchased a less expensive, but still premium gaming monitor, but was unhappy with the viewing experience. I exchanged it for this monitor and am really happy with the results. The gamma on my video card had to be lowered a little to get the best picture, but other than that it was perfectly setup. Looks great and is very easy on the eyes, and the extra resolution is nice to have for working on the computer also.

I bought this monitor a little over 2 years ago. I was amazed at how 1440p looked and the responsiveness of the pixels was fantastic. I have used it every day and have never had any problem with it. G-SYNC is worth the extra price too. Though I can say that I paid a couple of hundred dollars less than that it is going for now. I do recommend it, but would prefer a sale.

I bought this monitor when it was on sale for 450, and after playing Battlefield 1 beta and Witcher 3 on it, this monitor hand-down is the best gaming monitor out there for under $500. Sure, IPS monitor will have better color than even the top TN monitor. However, this monitor will not suffer light bleed like IPS monitors. The factory default settings are washed out so you have to calibrate it to meet your expectation.

After upgrading to a GTX 1070 from an older card, I finally had the power to get high frame rates in 1440p. I read reviews and chose this monitor because it had the best overall reviews of any 27" 1440p GSync monitor. Sure, another $200 will get you a better monitor, but not by much. When properly configured (NOT stock settings), this monitor is incredible. Bright, vibrant, fast response, and silky smooth as long as you have the right graphics card to power it. So for all those of you who plan to game on this, PLEASE make sure you have a graphics card that can put out >=60FPS at 1440p with high quality settings. If not, you're better off with a nice 1080p monitor, and save some money. What's the point of all those extra pixels if you have to sacrifice texture/shaders and chunky frame rates? IMHO, the RX480/GTX1060 is the minimum I would go with. Paired with the GTX 1070 and almost all games at ultra settings, it's just an amazing experience. Colors are vibrant and action is silky smooth thanks to GSync. Take the advice from the #1 helpful review here and use those settings! Turn off Deep Sleep mode also.

I bought three of these monitors because I wanted to get a 3 monitor set up. These monitors look and feel solid. I run them at 144htz. I am completely amazed how good they look. Love to game on these. They do have 3 ports one display port one hdmi port and they also have a USB connection

I bought this monitor because I wanted something with 2k, 144hz, and gsync. I have been very happy with it so far. The only issue I have is the power button is a little hard to press, but everything else is great.
