Customers are delighted by the 27" LED QHD G-SYNC Monitor's exceptional picture quality, smooth G-SYNC functionality, and high refresh rate, all contributing to a superb gaming experience. Many appreciate the monitor's excellent performance and value for its price. While some users mention the lack of built-in speakers and the type of panel used, the overwhelmingly positive feedback focuses on the visual experience and gaming capabilities. Great Picture, trashy buttons, pixel problems

Good The picture is great when it has all the pixels working. The G-SYNC is a must have. I'm using this monitor with a 1070 gtx and i have never had a tear. Runs most games around 100 fps on 2k, but i get 144 fps on titian fall 2. The adjustible back is well designed. Bad Worst on/off buttons. The most upsetting thing about this monitor is when your pc goes to sleep or turns off, you than have to turn off and turn on your monitor every time. It is also hard to get use to their placement, terrible design. I do not understand how dell could add such a low quality feature. Expect pixel problems.

Don't expect a lot of adjustable options since it's not the ASUS monitor but it is the same panel as it along with the same specs! Worth it for the money you save over the ASUS!

Typing on the screen now and it is awesome! No dead pixels, super-fast display. Paired with a 4790k and a GTX 1070 this thing screams fluid beauty.

    Great, But Noisy

This is a great monitor, but I wish it didn't make any coil whine. I've gone through one exchange but both monitors had the same problem. The power supply in this monitor makes an annoying buzzing noise when the brightness setting is about anything below 85 (the lower the brightness the lower the noise). Personally, I felt that any brightness setting above 70 is too bright. Unless your using this in a loud environment or if you like very bright monitor settings, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone.

Does not work well with docking station

Replaced an older monitor of lower resolution with this one so it would match the AOC monitor I have connected to a docking station that I switch my work and personal computer. Also both monitors are direct connected to a desktop gaming computer. When switching from the two laptops of disconnecting them and using the desktop the other monitor and also the one I replaced with the Dell recognized the active computer and switched to the correct input. The Dell has to be manually switched and sometimes it goes crazy flashing different colors. When this happens the on/off switch will not work and it has to be turned off at the source. Viewing angle is terrible. Looking at an angle the screen is yellow. If you are using one monitor and not changing between computers and never have to look at an angle this is a good monitor. The resolution is no better than my old AOC monitor wich was about half the price.

    Bad Quality Control

I've been through three of these now...Stay away. I had dead pixel issues on the first two. And my third one now has one permanent stuck green pixel near the center of the screen and a constant electrical buzzing noise. At this price point none of these issues should be apparent. I can't really be this unlucky so I'll be looking into other brands instead.

    Dead Pixel within 3 months

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This monitor flourishes with g-sync, 144hz, and QHD....that is until it develops a dead pixel in the middle of the screen 3 months after ownership. Color left much to be desired, appearing washed out and dull for certain games and on screen items. After returning an Asus monitor with screen flickering issues (also through best buy), it was frustrating to purchase another defective product from best buy, only this time the defect appeared outside of the return period. Best Buy refuses to extend my elite member return policy by a week and has forced me to be without a monitor while i send it back from the manufacturer. terrible experience buying monitors from best buy would not reccommend

Bright red dead pixel 1 month after purchase. after two hours on the phone Dell said that's OK because I can still read my screen. Apparently their three year "warranty" is subjective to whether or not they think your experience is ruined by dead pixels. My experience was ruined by their terrible service. So out of principal I am selling on craigslist for dirt cheap and never buying another Dell anything. There are companies out there that would be happy to have your business and actually care about the product you bought once its sold, ill go to them. Your mileage may vary. Still want one? Buy mine, hopefully someone will. I am going to just spend the money on a nice monitor with a company that actually guarantee's their panels.

    Good picture but fragile

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

So... I had this monitor for about 3 months and it was great. No tearing, nice and bright, great responsiveness, no ghosting noted... loved it. Then I decided to move it to another desk. Unplugged everything, moved it, got it all setup. My elbow struck the screen... no biggie, light little bump. Fired up the thing and I get perpendicular lines across the screen where I bumped it. UGH! Well... there goes a chunk of money. If you have this monitor, or are planning to buy it, be VERY careful with the unit. I've never had this kind of problem before with Dell monitors, especially these higher end models. I guess I could call their warranty line but replacing the screen... might as well buy a new one from what I've read. Just very disappointed with how fragile this thing is.

Dead Pixel Dell Will Not Warranty

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I’ve owned this monitor for a total of two months now. It seemed great until a dead pixel appeared, today. I called Dell assuming it would be a very easy replacement process. They told me the “very little dead pixel” is not covered in the warranty. Only six or more dead pixels qualifies for a replacement. At this point I had just spent 20 minutes proving it actually had a dead pixel and she informs me it’s not covered. Needless to say I hung up on her.

    Lasted all of 1 day.

Whelp. I love it. When it works. The monitor is beautiful with an extremely pleasing bezel. But it lasted all of ONE day. Literally got maybe an hour of play time out of it, went to dinner, came back and the monitor would not turn on. Now all that works is the little light on the power button. Tried powercycling and nothing worked. I returned it and have to pick up a new one tomorrow. Maybe I got unlucky but this has not given me any faith in the product. Many others on here have also reported issues with the monitor and I ignored them. Now I get to experience the pain. Hopefully the new one lasts longer than a day.

    Discoloration along top of monitors

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought two of these monitors during a Black Friday sale and have now had them for over 1 year. The monitors were amazing and stunning to look at for about 10 months. Then, I started to notice something along the top of my main monitor that can only be described as what looks like water running down the screen. This goes all the way across the monitor and literally looks like someone sprayed liquid along the top of the monitor and then it slowly ran down the monitor and is permanent. Now, I am the only one that has ever touched this monitor and I have literally never ever cleaned it. I have never spilled liquid across the top of it and it does not get very warm in the room I am in. Here's the crazy part. About a month later, the same thing began to happen to the other monitor as well. it's not quite as bad, but it is there and very noticeable. I tried calling Dell about this issue but by the time I called about it, the warranty had just expired - of course. I would say that I got a lemon, but it's both of the monitors. I'm not sure if they have just gotten too hot by running at 144 Hz and using GSync or what, but I would advise avoiding these.

    Only worth if on sale.

For the price of the monitor there are multiple competing brands that give you better quality and the panels are IPS instead of TN. The mounting point and mount for the monitor has alot of play and it's extremely difficult to set the monitor up at the proper viewing angle because of this. Only worth it on a heavy sale. Was purchased for $350.
