downsized from 40" 4k 60hz tv to this monitor only took ten minutes to get used to size and see my gaming abilities go up no more swinging my field of vision no tearing or motion blur best move ive made in years as far as gaming goes

I was very hesitant to get this monitor simply due to the TN panel technology. I have always used IPS and heard of the cons with switching to a TN panel. I noticed a lot of games would have some stutter and screen tearing so I wanted to try a G-Sync monitor. For $399 this was the best option I could find. And I was very impressed! But not without tweaking the settings. I paired this with a GTX 1070 and games look beautiful and smooth with G-Sync turned on at 144 hz. I can never go back to a non-GSync monitor or 60hz. This monitor is beautiful with no dead pixels or problems. I had to tweak the color and settings from the Nvidia control panel. There are a lot of settings you can find online, just find one that works but after tweaking vibrance and gamma the monitor looks almost like an IPS. Very very pleased. So smooth and beautiful to play now!!

Yeah, there are better monitors out there but for the price I am extremely happy with the quality of this montor. Been using it for several months now and it functions great in gaming with no issues!

I picked this gsync monitor up for $370. And for the money it can’t be beat! Smooth gaming and once you get your color settings the way you like the colors are great for a TN panel.

Monitor overall is just great, beautiful picture and great viewing angles for a TN panel. Minimal to no light bleed and no buzzing or other weird issues. Gaming-wise, the smoothness is just unforgettable although a lot of this I attribute to the 144hz display rate moreso than Gsync. That being said it really helps out when you're at 55-75fps and would otherwise be tearing.

I bought this as an upgrade from my old 1080 60hz monitor and I will never go back. I see my friends that are still using their stone age monitors and the difference is clear.

I wasnt about to spend the $$ for a 4k monitor. This went on sale during the holidays and is really close to a 4k but fraction of price. Refresh rate is fast. It can just about track a mouse pointer seamlessly.

I will admit, I was hesitant about this monitor at first, with it being a Dell and having had several not-so-great experiences with their pre-built computers. However, the other reviews convinced me to give it a try, as it was the only G-sync monitor within my price range (at least through Best Buy). The sale and financing options were definitely major factors as well. But overall, it is a very good monitor that looks fantastic, and my initial fears were unfounded. As some other reviews have said, it is not the greatest at its default settings, but if you go by the settings the top reviews have suggested, you'll get a base setting that is easy to tweak to your liking from there. It's relatively easy to change settings on the monitor itself, and although you probably will hit the wrong button a few times, the menu is very straightforward. Response time is fantastic as well.

Bought this because its a "gamer" monitor. Plugged it in and WOW. Way better everything. The brightness is amazing and I can see how terrible my old monitor is. However I only give this 3 stars because they sell you on some amazing specs that don't work really. For example the "1ms response time" (aka fast mode) creates a blurring/ghosting issue when you move in a game. Its really noticeable and annoying. Next up the high refresh rate of 144hz response rate sounds amazing.... but if you use it, it to will add some ghosting/blurring. So how do you fix this? Well now you run into ANOTHER and even worse issue, if you disable Nvidia-Sync (if thats the card you have), it will let you enable ULMB mode on the screen. Which basically makes everything near pitch black. And adjusting your brightness won't do anything really. Its still to dark. The only way to find a decent fix (not counting the above one) is to set the response time to "normal" and your refresh rate to 100hz. Which as you can see defeats the point of this being a 1ms/144hz monitor. Oh did I mention there is no Gamma option? Hopefully you have a way to adjust it with your video card or your stuck. With all that said I still give it a 3 simply because its way better then my old monitor and really 1ms, 144hz isn't the end of the world. You abrley notice the diffrence when you have to set it lower.

Expensive but worth it. Better than Free Sync, read the comparison reviews. Very smooth. Make sure you use the DP cable to enable the V-Sync and then increase to 144 sampling rate within Nvidia. Also disable the Sleep function on the monitor itself.

First I have to say that I did buy this monitor when it went on sale at best buy for right around $350.00. Aside from the price, this is an excellent monitor that offers G-Sync, although with an TN panel. Had to make a few adjustments to the color for the monitor, and with my NVIDIA control panel, but after the small changes it works flawlessly and looks great at 144Hz.

Coming from a very old VGA 1600x900 60Hz refresh monitor to this one is like seeing things in a new way. The images are very crisp and clean. I had no issues with color calibrations (factory set), like I have seen other reviews mention. But, our eyes al see things differently. Having a 20 series NVIDIA RTX Super GPU, it is nice to have GSync support on this monitor. Gaming on it is fantastic, things look great, and I have no issues with it. For streaming videos and movies, I have to say it looks better than my "newish" flat screen Plasma TV. I am very pleased with this purchase, especially at the sale price I got it at. Much lower than buying directly from Dell, much, much lower cost. Well worth every penny I spent on it.

I had this over two years now. Amazing monitor. It heat up alot on the bottom bezel where the logo is at. I had a issue where it went on sleep mode alot and would not power on until I completely turn off my pc, unplug it , and plug it back in. It mess up my display port in my 1080ti (it still had manufacturer warranty) by that sleep mode problem. Did a research and turn that sucker off. I really want to get rid of it but I become fond of it heating my room when it cold and it jiggles like a booby head . The usb 3.0 B, is really amazing. I connect my mouse, keyboard, Amazon $20 speaker. It even has the capability to charge you phone, slowly... But it works. I can't complain playing 2k gamimg in 144hz . Gsync.... BUYYYY WARRANTY. Never trust electric device they can give up one day or fry your graphics card when you went afk for 2 minutes

I mainly bought this monitor for gaming, and I have not been disappointed. Monitor screen is large, and I personally like the default settings just fine. The base doesn't take up much room, and the small bezels give the screen a very clean look on the desktop. I would recommend this monitor, especially on sale. I got mine for around $500-$550 after warranty and taxes.

When I was in the market for a 1440p monitor years ago, I needed one that was good for gaming and was able to display at 144hz as well as having a minimal amount of black banding. GSync was a need as well. The only way I could get that was with the latest model of this specific monitor, but the only way I could get that without paying for shipping and to get it at a fast shipping speed was to buy it from Best Buy. The monitor was awesome despite the fact you can get a 1440p monitor for much cheaper nowadays. If you're ever looking for the latest model of something, Best Buy is great for that.

Been using for 2 weeks now, monitor is great. Colors are beautiful, great picture. Got this on black Friday for $349. Great deal for a gsync monitor. Only issue is it doesn't want to turn on when it's in sleep modem, weird.

I have been using my pc with my tv for the past few years which is fine. I started out with a GTX 660 and about a year and a half ago upgraded to a 1060. I was saving for a gsync monitor as I wanted to get the most out of my graphics card. Saw this on sale for $370 and jumped on it. Out of the box no dead pixels and was able to adjust the colors easily to get a great picture. I bench marked it on Gears of War 4 and am getting on average 75 fps on ultra settings. The lowest the rate dropped was to 65. No tearing when playing the campaign and the multiplayer plays a lot more fluid due to the Gsync. With the 1070 founders addition getting as low as $350 and 1080's being a little more than a hundred more, I may as well get a new card to unlock the full potential of this monitor.

Was lucky enough to get this during Black Friday and this monitor did not disappoint. Colors are pretty and the 144hz is a must for competitive gamers! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 1440p/144hz monitor!

this is the best value for a gsync monitor, even for a TN panel, colors are acceptable and refresh rates are great. if you have a compatible gfx card, then this monitor is a no brainer for the price (I recommend getting it on sale for < $500)
