I can't believe the difference between G-Sync and non G-Sync. Makes a huge difference in game play.

I will be buying another one of these when they go on sale (it's on sale often) the only issue I have with the monitor is that when it goes to sleep it will not come back on unless you turn off the monitor and turn it back on. it's overall the best monitor I have ever owned.

Extremely low light bleed, amazing picture quality, colors are top notch. Bonus, Dell uses a very similar style bezel/stand for all their monitors, so finding a matching cheaper monitor is very easy. Best Buy doesn't carry the matching non-G-Sync Dell UltraSharp U2715 however. (Retails ~$450)

Look online for the necessary color correction settings, but after those, this is well worth it!

This monitor hit the sweet spot for me. Not only is the cost right, but this Dell monitor crams a lot of features that are usually had with spending hundreds more. I was able to snag this at $450 on sale, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a great gaming monitor.

I used this for a few years before switching to the curved version. It's a very hearty monitor even though the colors are a little washed out but it's an easy fix. Try to price match it with Dell since they have been known to have it cheaper.

I purchased this monitor when it was on sale for around $379 (I think). It is a nice little upgrade from my other monitor which was 4+ years old. Gaming has been very enjoyable with this monitor. The nVidia G-sync messes with my desktop icons from time to time, probably cause I have another display with 1920 x 1080 instead of 2560 x 1440. It's a very minor, quirky issue.

Excellent color, sharp and bright right out of the box. Would have liked to have a manual with it giving basic information on setup and adjustments. I'm a photographer and the monitor is pretty accurate re color balance. Glad I got this.

It’s a very decent monitor that has 27 inch large. The g-sync can boost the refresh rate to 144hz. However, you need a lightning-c to DP cable when you use a GTX laptop. The only concern is about the TN screen which is inferior to IPS screen.

Bought on sale for $350. Excellent value given the specs and G-Sync. Does lack some higher end features like HDR. Tough to dispute performance per dollar though. Strongly recommended if you have capable hardware to run it at 80+ fps on higher settings.

While this Dell G-Sync monitor does not have speakers it does have everything else and audio outputs. I practically stole this monitor with the Cyber Monday deal I found with $250 off!!! What a deal! Even the sales representatives were in shock at the price drop.

I purchased this monitor when it was on sale $300. For the price I paid this is an excellent monitor. There weren’t any dead pixels in the screen and toggling inputs is simple. The 2K resolution is amazing and is very nice. It’s like having 2 1080p monitors in one space, and the readability of text is still great. I have this connected to my desktop and use the hdmi input for my Surface Pro 4. Going between these devices is easy. The one issue I have is that the monitor goes into a dead sleep mode and when you turn on your computer or connect a device the monitor doesn’t turn on automatically. This dead sleep option can be disabled via the Settings though. I upgraded to this from a Samsung PX2370 and am blown away by the deep and rich colors.

I'm going to give it 4 out of 5 stars. I purchased 2 monitors before I ended up buying and keeping this one. My other monitors were in the $400+ range and I hated their black light bleed. This one does have some back light bleed on a all back screen but I have learned its something you deal with in these style panels. In game and watching videos the bleed is not noticeable. I love the 2k this monitor creates and I will never go back to 1080. I paid $650 after taxes for this monitor and I wish I would have waited for it to go on sale but even at $650 I'm very happy with it. I think gaming in 1440 or 2k with 144fps and 144hz is the sweet spot in gaming right now. I like the colors on this monitor and just about everything else with it. I do wish it was cheaper than $650 and I also wish the screen was gloss because I only game at night in the dark and I want it to be perfectly clear. The matte screen is fine but I prefer gloss. If this monitor keeps up the good work like it has been doing for the next 2 or 3 years then I will be extremely happy with my purchase. I've had it for a few months now and I think the back light bleed is getting worse but it is still 10x better than the other 2 monitors I tested.

Even though this is a TN panel it still looks very good and since gsync monitors are soooo expensive I feel like this was a good deal.

Overall a good monitor for the price - bought it on sale after upgrading my video card to a gtx-1070 ti. No tearing or deaf pixels so far. You pay a premium for the G-sync technology but you get what you pay for.

Awesome monitor once you calibrate it. It's viewing angles suck but if it's strictly used for your computer, it should perfect for you. I like to multitask so I would be across the room watching TV from my computer monitor. The problem with this monitor is that after I calibrate it, I need the brightness around 35 when they ship it at 75. I also read in silence. Once you get down under 55, there's this buzzing (or coil whine) that you can only hear in a very quiet room. I had 6 replacements through Best Buy and it didn't work out. I also contacted Dell who acknowledged the problem and they shipped me one, which also had the same issue. They shipped me the model S2716DG which is lacks the R (Retail), so that Best Buy & other brick and mortar stores don't have to price match online. Anyways, I think I spent a good month and went through 6 replacements. It didn't work out for me, but I knew a few people who it did work for as most people can't hear the buzzing.

Seeing as it was a TN panel I didn't expect the color reproduction to be that good but it's surprisingly good despite being a TN panel instead of IPS. If you have the graphics power to drive 1440p at over 60 fps then this is definitely worth buying when on sale for $500 or less.

I wanted to try gaming at 1440p, and I am enjoying it! Overall, a nice monitor, but I have run into 1 issue, that seems to be somewhat common - while initially setting it up with a new computer, the monitor went into sleep mode, and it was a complete BUGGER to get it out! First thing I did then was to disable all sleep modes...

This Dell monitor provides a tremendous amount of value based on the price point. This provides all the features a gamer is going to look for in a monitor such as 1440p, G-Sync, 144Hz refresh rate. Keep in mind this is a TN panel and not an IPS panel which is in part where the cheaper pricing comes in. If IPS is important to you then consider other options.
