Great Choice!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I was searching around for a 4k monitor and after doing some research I decided to go with 2k plus G-Sync for an overall better experience than 4k at 60hz. There are a ton of games that support 2k but not many that do 4k overall the smoothness of the 144hz and G-Sync is the way to go. This monitor delivers it. Yeah its a TN screen and not an IPS but I still think its comparable to the Acer predator monitor. If you can catch it on sale its even better!

So smooth compared to a non g sync and 60 hz in games. You don’t notice it much in normal useage. Only negatives I can say are.. Color is not perfect but this is not for photoshop so.... I had to disable deep sleep. It would cause the monitor not to work in some situations. It’s easy to turn off I would recommend people do that. Got mine on Black Friday sale. It’s a great deal on sale if not it’s not that good of a deal.

Great gaming monitor but pricey

I took a long look at the ASUS 24" but decided to jump on this Dell when it went on sale. Love the screen and bezel sizes. Love the picture quality. Games look sharp without any screen tearing. Monitor was very easy to setup. Price was an issue. I had problems waking the monitor up from deep sleep, so I turned off that feature. The buttons on the underside of the bezel are cumbersome to use. It would have been better if the buttons were placed on the side of the monitor.

Best gsync entry level gaming monitor
