At MSRP this monitor gets 3 stars. 4 stars with black Friday pricing. Most importantly, the G-Sync feature works great and I've had no problems with it. I'm running this monitor off a very weak Dell blower implementation of the GTX 1080 sourced from MSI and it works perfectly with this unit. Completely makes up for most of the dell 1080's shortcomings. Gaming is a complete joy on PC with this Monitor. I've bought monitors from Samsung, Asus, and Dell. Dell has consistently better quality control in my experience and this monitor was no exception. My unit came with 0 dead pixels, minimal blooming and overall solid white balance. Would've liked to see support for 1 billion colors and/or better color accuracy at this MSRP. Contrast ratio is so-so. If this monitor isn't grossly reduced in price when you're considering your purchase, i would hold off until it is on sale.

The monitor does everything it advertises well. Picture quality is smooth and I don't notice too much, if any, picture quality drop with this being a TN panel. Downside is the price. With the Nvidia update that allows compatibility with some Freesync monitors, you may be able to find a comparable monitor for cheaper.

Before I bought this I read the reviews that said how great the picture was for a TN panel. Some people said they could barely tell the difference. Well I sure could. I bought a $120 dell from Best Buy like a year ago that I was comparing it against and tried to replicate the colors and I could not even get close to that one. After messing with it for 12 hours or so I gave up and took it back. From performance standpoint, it is amazing. Gaming with G-sync is a whole other ballgame and spoiled me. Response times are amazing. This is an elite monitor from a performance perspective. Zero background bleed. The color standpoint is the opposite. I really did not think it would bother me. It is, however, a definitive contrast between this and the other Dell I have. I could not justify the $500 for this monitor. Bottom line, if you want raw performance, this is for you. However, if you care about decent color and want blacks to be black and whites to be white, then it is not.

This is my first monitor that i have bought with g sync and have had no issues at all the only thing i would recommend is playing with the settings abit to get the colors to be more vivid but other then that great right out of the box.

I like this monitor much better than my last one. Will not mention the name, but the last one hummed a lot. No hum in this one and for me it was plug and play. Good color, good everything. This monitor is dedicated to hard cord gaming (War Thunder) and runs the game flawlessly.

These are solid monitors for gaming. Not really for any color accurate operations, but you can get decent accuracy just following the calibration guide out there on Reddit. Bought three for my setup and so far they haven't disappointed.

Bought this for gaming and love it. Its big and looks great. Very smooth looking on new games with G-SYNC. Make sure your video card supports G-SYNC to get the full benifits of this monitor. Very adjustable moves up and down and tilts side to side very easy

I spent a lot of time trying to find the right monitor for gaming. compared to many asus monitors that seem to have QC issues and some acer monitors with similar complaints, this was the only monitor that seemed not to be suffering the same fates. so far it is working well!

clean look and does its job. great for 1440p/144hz gaming

I did so much research and was back and forth between a few different monitors. But when this monitor with the same specifications was half off I couldn't resist. I bought two for me and two of my lady and we couldn't be happier!

Outstanding for games if you don’t need perfect color. G-sync really does make a big difference if you have lower frame rates. Had some issues with my MacBook Pro. Can’t get the refresh rate higher than 60hz. Make sure you get a good DisplayPort to hdmi cable otherwise results can be blurry and not good.

This monitor is one that will not let you down. Want to see colors you’ve never seen before in quality your eye balls will drool over? Look no further than this bad boy. Talk about making your eye balls weak in the knees.

great monitor . wo great i bought 3 for my triple monitor sim racing set up . i got them on sale for 325 each so i couldn't pass that up. colors are great, gsync is amazing , and small bezels make it perfect for my needs.

Purchased a new Dell Aurora R5 and wanted a Gaming Monitor with G-Sync to go with my dual Nvidia GTX 1080s. Spoke with Nvidia about Active Sync Monitors and found out that there is a compatibility issue which will not work with the GTX 1080s. Stay away from Active Sync.

everything works fine as 144+ gsynce, except for battlefield 4

This monitor is excellent if it's within your budget. I got it for around $350 on black Friday. No complaints really, nice swivel, rotation when adjusting monitor. Buttons are easy to learn and navigate but the power button on my monitor gets stuck and won't turn on the sometimes which is a little worrying.

Went from Asus 24in 144mhz to this. Using on AMD ryzen system with GTX 1080 card. All games run at least 70 to 120 fps on ultra settings. Titan Fall 2, newest COD, Witcher 3, etc. G-sync is nice to have but I honestly cannot see a difference with or without it.

Pros-1440p, 144hz, G-Sync, adjustable stand and great picture (after gamma is adjusted in Gefore Control Panel). Cons-Monitor itself has no gamma adjustment causing picture to look washed out, no auto-dim, unable to support multiple display profiles and no blue light filter.
